One of the largest mining facilities of South Ural. Large-scale investments into a source of raw materials, implementation of modern technologies allow Gaysky GOKU to take on extraction of ore the second place in the Russian Federation among the enterprises of nonferrous metallurgy. All ore extracted by Gaysky GOKOM underground and opened by methods is processed at own enrichment factory of plant.
History
1999
Since 1999 GGOK is in the structure of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company and is the largest supplier of raw materials for the enterprises of Holding.
1959
The Gaysky GOK is founded in 1959 based on the Gaysky field of copper and pyritic ores. The field focuses more than 40 percent of reserves of copper of the Orenburg region.
