2024: Net profit growth 6x to ₽183,4 million

The company Gloria Jeans JSC, which consolidates the trading operations of the corporation of the same name, in 2024 received a net profit according to Russian accounting standards (RAS) in the amount of ₽183,4 million, which is 6.3 times higher than in 2023. Information about this was published in the financial statements of the company on March 21, 2025.

According to Interfax, the company's revenue slightly decreased by 1.1% and amounted to ₽28,859 billion, gross profit also decreased by 1.1%, to ₽28,859 billion.

"Gloria Jeans" increased its annual net profit 6 times

Net profit growth with lower revenue was achieved due to cost optimization and improved operational efficiency. Commercial expenses of Gloria Jeans in 2024 decreased by 3.2% and amounted to ₽25,516 billion, which allowed the company to increase profit from sales to ₽3,343 billion (an increase of 19.3%).

Other revenues of Gloria Jeans JSC in the reporting period increased 1.9 times, to ₽2,228 billion, while other expenses increased by 33.3% and reached ₽2,952 billion. As a result, profit before tax amounted to ₽158,367 million, which is 1.4 times more than in 2023.

The company's financial discipline has also improved: accounts payable in 2024 decreased from ₽5,238 billion to ₽3,874 billion, and accounts receivable decreased from ₽4,846 billion to ₽3,106 billion.

Gloria Jeans is one of the largest Russian manufacturers and retailers of clothing and accessories. The company's network has over 600 stores in more than 300 cities of Russia. The company also owns three logistics complexes located in Novosibirsk, Podolsk and the Rostov region. At the end of 2024, Gloria Jeans had 10 production sites.

In January 2025, the company closed part of its production facilities - two garment factories in the Rostov region (in Gukov and Zverev). In February 2025, it became known that these[1]

2023: Revenue growth by 11% to RUB 78 billion

In 2023, the revenue of Gloria Jeans amounted to 78 billion rubles, which is 11% more in comparison with 2022. The Russian manufacturer and seller of clothing disclosed such data on January 11, 2024.

According to Interfax, citing materials from the retailer, its net profit in 2023 reached 9.6 billion rubles, or 11% of revenue. At the same time, net profit for 2022 is not indicated. In 2023, Gloria Jeans earned 10 billion rubles on the sale of goods via the Internet, which approximately corresponds to the result of a year ago. At the same time, sales in the retailer's own online channels increased by the end of 2023.

Gloria Jeans revenue amounted to 78 billion rubles

In 2022-2023 Gloria Jeans opened 60 new stores on the ground, where the outlets of foreign companies were previously located. Ex-head of Rusagro Maxim Basov sold a stake in Gloria Jeans

Former head of Rusagro Maxim Basov resigned from the owners of the parent company of the VVM Investments group, his share decreased from 1% to zero. The share of the fund "Named after St. Great Martyr Anastasia Uzoreshitelnitsa," established by the founder of Gloria Jeans Vladimir Melnikov, increased from 99% to 100%. Corresponding changes were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities in February 2025. Melnikov explained that the allocation of a minority stake in Basov LLC was part of the initial agreements, the terms of which are confidential[3]

Bulava bought Gloria Jeans factories in Gukovo and Zverevo, Rostov Region

The Bulava company, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern, bought the Gloria Jeans production sites in Gukovo and Zverevo, Rostov Region. The deal was completed in February 2025. The new owner announced plans to repurpose factories to produce military uniforms and equipment.

According to Vedomosti, the information on the sale of factories was confirmed by the Acting Governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar in his Telegram channel. According to him, the new owner plans to save jobs for all 400 employees previously employed at Gloria Jeans production sites.

The Kalashnikova concern company bought the Gloria Jeans factories and will sew military uniforms there

According to SPARK, Bulava LLC was registered in November 2022. The main owner of the enterprise is entrepreneur Galina Bannikova with a share of 79%. The remaining 21% from February 25, 2025 belongs to LLC Triad"," which is part of the Kalashnikov concern.

Triada-TKO LLC specializes in the production and supply of military equipment. The company's financial performance shows significant growth: revenue according to Russian accounting standards in 2023 increased almost 122 times and reached ₽23,3 billion. Net profit amounted to ₽984,7 million, while a year earlier a loss of ₽126 million was recorded.

Bulava already has experience in managing production assets in the Rostov region. In January 2024, the company opened in the city of Shakhty a full-cycle production of special clothing for participants in a special military operation. The volume of investments in this project amounted to ₽200 million.

Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar also announced the attraction of an investor for three other Gloria Jeans production sites, without disclosing his name. This investor was transferred the right to lease factories in the city of Zernograd, the city of Salsk and the village of Yegorlykskaya. It is also planned to save all jobs at these enterprises.[4]

On September 23, 2024, it became known that the former head of Rusagro and SUEK Maxim Basov became a minority co-owner of the clothing manufacturer from the Rostov region, Gloria Jeans, in which he holds the post of general director. Details of the transaction as of the specified date were not disclosed.

According to the Vedomosti newspaper, Basov received a 1% stake in VVM Investments LLC, which owns Gloria Jeans JSC and Gloria Jeans Corporation JSC. Data breach of millions of customers

On June 6, 2023, it became known about the leak of data from millions of customers of the Gloria Jeans store chain. It was reported by the Telegram channel "Information Leaks," which is maintained by Ashot Hovhannisyan, founder of the DLBI darknet detection and monitoring service.

Text files containing fragments of the site database dump were posted publicly gloria-jeans.ru. Two files contain:

  • names/surnames;
  • email addresses (3.16 million unique addresses);
  • telephones (2.36 million unique numbers);
  • date of birth;
  • number of the card of the permanent buyer;
  • Creation and update dates of the record (24.09.2018 to 18.05.2023).

It was also noted that in the files there are hashed (bcrypt) user passwords that accidentally got there when cutting data from a full dump.

By 17:00 Moscow time on June 6, 2023, it was not reported whether Roskomnadzor received a notification of a data leak. According to the law, companies that have leaked data are obliged to independently report the incident to Roskomnadzor within 24 hours, and to provide the results of an internal investigation indicating the cause of the leak and responsible persons within 72 hours.

It is assumed that hackers from the NLB group are behind the hacker attack on the Gloria Jeans clothing chain, due to which the data of SberThank, Alfastrakhovanie and the state IT developer GNIVC were leaked. According to the Telegram channel "Information Leaks," by June 6, 2023, hackers promise to "leak" the data of 12 large companies.[7]

One of the contenders for the opening of the store in the Gallery Akter complex was the Stockmann chain of stores. The general director of the retailer Gennady Levkin announced the negotiations on the lease on December 6, 2023. He noted that in the event of a deal, the volume of investments will be at least 100 million rubles.

By April 2023, Gloria Jeans stores operate in Belarus and Kazakhstan, the company plans to enter the markets of Asia and Israel. Approximately 20% of products are produced in Russia, China and Vietnam, the rest - in Turkey, India and other countries.[8]
