2023: The head of government of the Samara region announced his resignation and he was detained

On November 14, 2023, the former first vice-governor and chairman of the government of the Samara region, Viktor Kudryashov, who announced his resignation on the same day, and the acting minister of construction of the region, Mikhail Aseev, were arrested in Samara. Read more here.
