Saina Otorbayeva withdrew from the capital of the Russian network of medical laboratories
Saina Otorbayeva, daughter of ex-Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Joomart Otorbayeva, in December 2024 sold her share in the amount of 25.2% in the capital of the Helix Laboratory Service. The buyer of the blocking package was Smart Medikal Solutions LLC.
Daria Goryakina, Deputy General Director of the Helix Laboratory Service, explained that the change in the composition of the founders occurred as part of a business consolidation strategy in the hands of key shareholders involved in the company's operating activities.
After the completion of the transaction, the ownership structure of NPF Helix LLC was distributed as follows: Helix Nord-West LLC owns 35.38%, Smart Medikal Solutions LLC - 25.20%, Yuri Andreychuk - 20.42%, Pavel Yablokov - 10% and Vladimir Kulikov - 9%.
The general director of the agency "Infoline-Analytics" Mikhail Burmistrov estimates the value of the sold block of shares at ₽3 billion. According to Anastasia Vladimirova, managing partner of IPM Consulting, the transaction price could reach ₽8 billion, given the blocking nature of the package.
Saina Otorbayeva has been a shareholder of the company since 2012. According to the SPARK-Interfax system, after the sale of a stake in NPF Helix, it has no registered business in Russia.
More than 800 Helix Express diagnostic centers and points operate under the Helix brand in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. The company manages seven automated laboratory complexes with a total area of 14.2 thousand square meters. m in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Minsk and Alma-Ata.
In February 2023, the company acquired the Sinevo network in Belarus from Medicaver holding for €14.5 million. Expansion in the CIS
At the end of June 2024, the deputy general director of Helix, Daria Goryakina, spoke about the international expansion of the laboratory service. The company enters the markets of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to the Kontur.Fokus service, by the end of June 2024, the founders of NPF Helix LLC are Helix Nord-West LLC (35.38%), Saina Otorbaeva (25.2%), Yuri Andreychuk (20.42%), Pavel Yablokov (10%) and Vladimir Kulikov (9%). Opening of laboratory complex in Kazakhstan

Data breach of millions of network customers
On July 20, 2023, it became known about the leakage of data from millions of customers of the Helix network of medical laboratories. Roskomnadzor initiated the check.
Telegram channel "Information Leaks" reported that a file containing personal data of customers of the "Helix" network was posted for free access. According to the channel, the file contains 7.3 million lines with the following entries:

- e-mail address (779 thousand unique addresses);
- phone number (879 thousand unique numbers);
- gender;
- date of birth;
- SNILS (not for everyone);
- Date the record was created and updated (17.07.2011 to 15.07.2023).

Specialists of the laboratory service "Helix" reported a hacker attack on the night of July 15-16. The company assured that the leakage of personal data did not occur.

Buying Synevo in Belarus
On February 10, 2023, the Helix laboratory service announced the purchase of Synevo, the largest private laboratory diagnostics network in Belarus, from the international Medicover holding, which has one centralized laboratory in Minsk and 58 medical offices throughout the country. 2021: Opening of the complex in Siberia
The Helix network of laboratories opened the first complex in Siberia in October 2021. About 435 million rubles were invested in this project.

2020: Opening of a laboratory complex in Krasnodar
At the end of 2020, the Helix company opened a laboratory complex in Krasnodar, in which about 260 million rubles were invested. This institution will conduct research on biomaterials for the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts in order to reduce the burden on the laboratories of the districts that arose against the background of the coronavirus COVID-19.
The area of the new complex is 1.3 thousand square meters. m. There will be conducted general clinical, biochemical, immunochemical and cytological studies, as well as specialized tests for the diagnosis of oncological and cardiovascular diseases. The complex has created an automated PCR laboratory with a capacity of up to 3 thousand studies per day for the diagnosis of biomaterial for COVID-19. In total, the laboratory is designed to conduct up to 120 thousand different tests per day. In the first year of work, it is planned to perform more than 12 million tests.
Helix has already concluded 220 contracts with private and state clinics for research in the Krasnodar laboratory. More than 60 employees will be involved in the maintenance of the complex.
The laboratory in Krasnodar became the fourth production site of Helix. Three other complexes are already operating in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.
The opening of the laboratory complex will reduce the time of research, some of them will be able to perform in a day, and not in two or three, as it was before, optimize logistics costs, as well as increase the total mass of tests for our customers.
