Igor Heresh, Director of Asset Management and M&A of Solar Group, announced plans to promote the SIEM system both on B2B, including the largest enterprises in key industries, and in B2G markets. This acquisition will allow the group to develop its own SIEM platform.

According to the representative of Solar, the volume of the Russian SIEM market in 2023 was estimated from ₽20 billion to ₽24 billion. In the coming years, the segment is expected to grow annually by 9-10%, and the number of vendors may increase by more than one and a half times over two years.

Sergey Kudryashov, partner of the Digital Transformation practice at Strategy Partners consulting company, noted that international suppliers were actively present in the Russian SIEM system market until 2022. Currently, the market is fully represented by domestic vendors such as Kaspersky Lab, Positive Technologies, R-Vision, Security Vision and SearchInform.

The head of the technological expertise department of Softline Group of Companies Denis Chigin pointed to a gradual decrease in the share of Western manufacturers in the Russian market. According to analysts surveyed by the publication, the SIEM market in Russia in 2024 amounted to about ₽18-20 billion.

Investment strategist of Arikapital Management Company Sergei Suverov estimated the value of the transaction at about ₽200 million. Vitaly Polekhin, President of the International Investor Organization Investoro, suggested that 49% of the shares could have been acquired for ₽175 million.[1]
