2024: Acquisition of a controlling stake in I-Teco Group of Companies

The I-Teco Group of Companies, as part of its overall investment strategy, acquired a controlling stake in IAR-Group, which manufactures automated equipment for industrial enterprises and robotics solutions. Representatives of I-Teco reported this to TAdviser on December 17, 2024.

I-Teco bought control in a Russian manufacturer of equipment and robotics for industry

Under the terms of the transaction, I-Teco Group becomes the majority shareholder (with a share of 50.02%, which, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, is owned by I-Teco Invest JSC), the rest of the shares in equal shares belong to the founders of IAR-Group: Dmitry Bulgakov, Yuri Mikhalev, Vladimir Kamenskikh - they will continue to manage the business together with the new investor.

IAR-Group has in its portfolio a stack of technologies for automation and robotization of production lines, online process monitoring, warning systems (used to prevent possible equipment failure) and a "technical" vision system. The company is an official integrator of the mandatory marking of goods "Fair Sign" to ensure traceability of goods along the entire chain from the manufacturer to the end consumer.

IAR Group has its own design bureau and production in Perm, laboratories in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The company plans to develop new automation and robotization systems to improve the efficiency of production processes.

Industrial automation is one of the focus areas that I-Teco Group of Companies is actively developing, both developing its own products and investing in Russian technology startups. The acquisition of a stake in IAR-Group will help increase the competencies of I-Teco in the field of production automation, the group of companies noted.
