History
2017: The website ceases to be updated. Declaration of search of the new investor
In September, 2017 iBusiness.ru ceases to be updated. On the website there was declaration that the project looks for the new investor, "that together with it to conquer new peaks of the Russian media industry". Judging by data of SimilarWeb service, prior to the beginning of summer the resource actively bought audience. Then the sharp slowdown up to 75 thousand people for all August followed.
2015: Reformatting in an entertaining resource about business
In 2015 the edition changed a format to "The Russia's first entertaining resource about business. A new format for the people creating the future".
Restart was supervised by the pioneer of Runet Anton Nosik. He suggested to connect entertaining and business contents in publications, to create the short, easily read materials with good virus effect. It was expected that the materials of advertisers executed in the same style will not cause in the reader of "an advertizing blindness".
To restart the new design and the new software product was created, new processes of work of edition are implemented, sales process is built, the new product portfolio focused on tasks of advertisers, but not on advertizing formats – for example, a product output to the market, rescue of reputation or explanation of difficult service is built. According to Anton Nosik's recommendation the Shaggy Cheese agency took part in restart (later – a part of Pikcher media holding).
Conditions of registration of participants
Registration on the website of "National business network" is possible only by invitations. According to the adopted rules, in the VAT (in the presence of the invitation) can be registered:
- Businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors;
- Co-owners and shareholders of the companies;
- Top managers and members of Boards of Directors;
- Heads of federal and local authorities and also state (municipal) enterprises and organizations;
- Managers and specialists of other categories. However in the latter case it will be necessary to confirm the official status (generally — from the head of department above).
Existence of the invitation from the acting participant of "National business network" is not a guarantee of confirmation of membership of the candidate in the project. This necessary, but not sufficient condition. The final decision is made by administration of the project, including after verification of the provided information and consultations with representatives of expert community.
Only project participants have an opportunity to leave records on the website and to comment on materials of other associates and also to participate in all other activities. Only information selected by federal edition and also the materials prepared by edition of the region where at the moment there is a visitor is available to all other visitors.
Architecture of social network
In terms of architecture "The national business network" is based on three components (apart from a set of additional tools and services):
- Media. The integrated edition of the project including local editions in regions.
- Blogging. Each participant automatically has an opportunity to have the personal blog and also to publish the photos, video and other materials. Besides the companies can have corporate blogs on a paid (rent) basis.
- Social. All participants have an opportunity to enter partnership ("be on friendly terms") with other participants, regardless of the industry, specialty and the region.
The VAT are internet mass-media of new generation, combining advantages of classical business journalism (as a part of the project own editions — federal, regional and industry will work), personal and corporate blogs and also moderiruyemy forums and conferences which leaders will be businessmen, famous in the industries, experts and analysts.
At launch it was planned that "The national business network" will also act as information aggregator, coming into extensive contacts with key news agencies (international, all-Russian and regional), business and trade publications and also the leading authors and observers.
Paid corporate blogs - a basis of income
Corporate blogs which efficiency will be maintained by the developed system of editorial and managerial services should become one of key "corporate" formats on the platform of "National business network".
In structure of the VAT the specialized agency which will provide if necessary creative resources of journalists, editors and industry experts to the companies experiencing any difficulties (from personnel — to "deficit of the ideas") forms by preparation of corporate blogs.
The VAT command intends to change dominating nowadays (and, alas, not the most effective) a format of the corporate blog as on-line collection of official press releases. Corporate blogs on the platform VAT are designed to become not only popular, interesting and informative sources of information, but also — some kind of "corporate media" with extensive audience, the authority and a significant amount of regular readers.
Corporate blogs of the companies (paid, supported as a part of the VAT on the terms of a monthly subscription fee) are not limited neither on frequency, nor on volume. Besides additional advertizing opportunities for "promotion" within community are available to holders of corporate blogs. Parts of similar support are discussed with administration of the project.
Partner network
"The national business network" will develop with a support on network of regional representative offices. As regional representatives will act, including, some participants of a partner network of Business magazine published by ID Computerra. A key task of regional representative offices (partner organizations) is formation of local information flows (a "editorial" component), involvement in the project of new participants on places and stimulation of information activity of business elite of the corresponding administrative educations.
2014: Sukhov leaves, Radayev comes
In April, 2014 the Chief Editor of iBusiness.ru leaves the edition. In a project team there is Alexander Radayev before working as the deputy chief editor in CNews, and later, the heading website Digit.ru (RIA Novosti).
2013: Veronika Taraba receives 100% in the company
In the spring of 2013 Dmitry Mendrelyuk gave the ibusiness.ru resource, to ownership to the top manager of Croc company Veronika Taraba.
The portal "it is quite capable to generate income, but Dmitry was attracted most of all by Zuckerberg's monasteries, and the social network of a resource totals more than 3 thousand members, and no more than 3 million now", explained Tarab's CNews[1].
In June, 2013 Pavel Sukhov before working as the editor-in-chief of such websites as Vedomosti.ru, MN.ru, GZT.ru, RB.ru was invited to a position of the Chief Editor.
2012: Veronika Taraba owns 26% in the company
According to data state. the register (USRLE), entered in April of the 2012th year, shares in National Business Network LLC Dmitry Mendrelyuk, the founder of ID Computerra, (74%) and Veronika Taraba (26%) [2] marketing director of Croc company[2] own]. For launch of National Business Network, in 2011, the second investor of the project did not reveal.
2011: Change of model: from the edition to social network
In September, 2011 the website iBusiness.ru changed orientation and from the edition about IT turned into social network for regional entrepreneurs.
From 2011 to 2013 the project was positioned as "National Business Network" (NBN) — social network for entrepreneurs and top managers. At launch within the developed strategy of the VAT was going to pass gradually from an editorial and media paradigm of development — to service. The ultimate goal — to cover a partner network all regions of Russia, and afterwards and neighboring countries with the Russian-speaking environment.
2003: The closed Infobusiness magazine moves to iBusiness.ru
The website ibussines.ru became the successor of the printing magazine "Infobusiness" closed in 2003 created by Dmitry Mendrelyuk.
