History
2024: Entering the Russian market
In October 2024, it became known that iQOO was entering the Russian market. At the first stage, the Chinese manufacturer smartphones will offer three new models to Russians.
The flagship iQOO 12 device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The device received an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches with a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The camera includes an Omnivision OV50H main sensor with optical stabilization, a Samsung JN1 wide-angle module and a OV64B telephoto periscope with 3x optical zoom.
The mid-budget iQOO Z9 model is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and is equipped with an AMOLED screen with similar characteristics to the flagship. A feature of the device is an increased 6000 mAh battery with support for 80-watt charging. The main camera is represented by a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 module.
The younger Z9x model received a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, a 6.72-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2408x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device supports 44 watts charging and is equipped with stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a memory card slot.
The cost of the flagship iQOO 12 is ₽109,9 thousand. The Z9 model is available in two versions: 8/256 GB for ₽43,9 thousand and 12/256 GB for ₽47,9 thousand. The Z9x price starts at ₽35,9 thousand for the 8/256 GB version and reaches ₽39,9 thousand for the 12/256 GB modification.
The yet unannounced flagship iQOO 13 has also been certified in Russia, indicating the manufacturer's plans to further expand the line in the Russian market. For comparison, in China, similar models are much cheaper: the flagship - ₽60 thousand, the average model - ₽22 -25 thousand, the younger version - ₽18 -21 thousand.
All presented devices support modern communication standards, including, and NFC work on current versions operating system Android with the manufacturer's proprietary shell.[1]
