2023: Accreditation by the Ministry of Digital Science

Innovative Technologies, an IT integrator part of the Pridex ecosystem, has been accredited by Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation as an operator of a commercial biometric system (BSC). Thus, the company has become an integrated provider of access control systems (MCDS) solutions based on Face ID technologies. Pridex announced this on December 25, 2023.

In December 2023, the norms of FZ 572 entered into force, which established the rules for the collection and processing of biometrics in Russia. If earlier the identification of a person took place within the framework of the IT infrastructure of one organization, then from December 1, the storage of biometric personal data is carried out only by the state - the Unified Biometric System (EBS), and their processing is delegated to the BSC, which must undergo the accreditation procedure.

As of December 2023, only eight companies are accredited in Russia, including IT integrator Pridex, while six KBS are the largest banks.

The change in legislation affects a significant market for MCDS in real estate: according to expert estimates, the number of terminals operating in the country is about 50 thousand, and the total cost of solutions is tens of billions of rubles. In addition, according to Pridex, about 40% of new business centers that will be built in the coming years in Moscow declare entry into the building via Face ID. Since December, MCDS systems with biometrics recognition should work only on the software and hardware complex of the accredited BSC, while other solutions were outside the legal field.

Thanks to the successful accreditation, Pridex has formed a reliable base for the development of a comfortable ecosystem in commercial real estate, based, among other things, on facial biometrics technology. We are talking about both offices, warehouses and industries, and infrastructure facilities, where Face ID access is introduced to ensure maximum security.
