2021: Interfax invests 600 million rubles in the development of digital services

At the end of 2021, it became known that the Interfax information group in 2022 will invest more than 600 million rubles in the development of its IT systems, such as SPARK-Interfax, Scan, X-Compliance, Marker.ru, RU Data, Scout and Astra.

Vladimir Gerasimov, First Deputy General Director and Executive Director of the Interfax Group, spoke about plans to invest in Kommersant's digital services. According to him, the share of IT services in the group's revenue as a whole is 90%, and the traditional media business accounts for only 10%. All IT systems in the group showed double-digit revenue growth in percentage in 2021, for individual services the increase was more than 30%, he said.

In mid-December 2021, Interfax announced the creation of a new company, to which the business of developing analytical IT systems will be transferred. The new structure was called Interfax - Digital Solutions.

According to him, the consolidation of digital resources and competencies in Interfax - Digital Solutions will make the company more attractive to IT specialists, optimize business processes in the group and more clearly position two main areas of its business.
