2022: Opening of a clinical hospital in St. Petersburg

On January 12, 2022, the official opening of the MD Lakhta clinical hospital in St. Petersburg took place. This is a project of the Mother and Child group, which invested 1.9 billion rubles in it.

"MD Lakhta" will provide services in several areas: surgery, urology, endoscopy, neurology, cardiology. However, at first, the hospital will receive only patients with coronavirus (COVID-19) and other infections. The company clarified that all rooms of the hospital are equipped with an oxygen supply system.

According to RBC, the cost of treating coronavirus hospitals in a private clinic, taking into account intensive care, can be 2.5 million rubles. Such a price was formed in the spring of 2020 in the conditions of a shortage of a bed fund and high demand from wealthy Russians for treatment in private clinics.

According to the press service of the Mother and Child group, the new medical center in St. Petersburg is equipped with equipment from leading world manufacturers such as GE Healthcare, Hamilton, B.
