MAZDA SOLLERS Manufacturing Rus Limited Liability Company is a joint venture of Mazda Motor Corporation (Japan) and PJSC SOLLERS (Russia), created on the basis of 50/50 partnership. MAZDA SOLLERS Manufacturing Rus is the only manufacturer of Mazda cars in Russia. Products for November 2019 are sold in more than 70 dealerships throughout the Russian Federation.

2021: Increase in annual revenue by a quarter
In 2021, Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus (a joint venture of the Russian automotive group Sollers Auto and Japanese Mazda) earned 53.9 billion rubles in revenue, which is 25.6% more compared to 2020. Commercial expenses increased by 32.1% and amounted to 8.5 billion rubles. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services in 2021 increased by 33.1%, to 49.6 billion rubles.
Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus has been producing cars since 2012. As reported on the Sollers Auto website, the company produces a Mazda CX-9 SUV, a Mazda CX-5 crossover and a Mazda 6 sedan in Vladivostok. The total production exceeds 30 thousand cars per year.
Also, Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus LLC in Primorye in the Nadezhdinskaya TOP has a Mazda engine production plant. The products are shipped to Mazda Motor's automotive facilities in Japan. At the end of 2021, Mazda was the second Japanese brand after Nissan in terms of sales in Russia: in January-December, dealers sold 29,177 cars, which is 11% more than in 2020. Almost half of sales came from the Mazda CX-5 crossover.[1]

2023: The launch of pickups at the site of the former joint venture with Mazda begins
On July 17, 2023, Sollers announced the start of production of pickups at the site of a former joint venture with Mazda in Vladivostok.
The model is not officially called, however, as Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes, we are talking about the JAC T6 pickup truck. This is a 5325 mm frame pickup truck with a 3090 mm wheelbase. In Russia, the model is offered with a turbodiesel with a capacity of 136 hp. and a gasoline engine of 177 hp. both are aggregated by a 6-speed MCP. Drive - rigidly connected full. In the near future, Sollers expects to expand the line of manufactured cars in Vladivostok, "negotiations on this subject are actively underway with potential Chinese partners," the company said in mid-July 2023.
In the past, a joint venture between Mazda and Sollers in Vladivostok produced Mazda CX-9, Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6 cars. Although the Japanese company has not officially announced its withdrawal from the Russian market, it does not produce or officially supply cars to Russia by July 2023. Mazda estimated losses from the suspension of activities in the country at 82 million euros.
According to Motor, it was previously reported that the T6 model will disappear from the JAC model line in order to return with the new Sollers logos. Sollers already produces two Chinese models under its own brand by July 2023 - these are Sollers Atlant and Argo, aka JAC Sunray and N25/N35.[2]

In November 2022, the Japanese corporation Mazda Motor, against the background of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, decided to cease its activities in Russia and transfer a stake in a joint venture in Vladivostok to PJSC Sollers Auto for €1 (one euro) with the possibility of repurchasing the stake back in the next 3 years.
