History

2018: Renaming to the Ministry of Culture of the Altai Territory

By a decree of the Government of the Altai Territory of October 16, 2018, the Altai Territory Administration for Culture and Archival Businesses was renamed the Ministry of Culture of the Altai Territory^[2].

2009: Activities of the Altai Territory Department for Culture and Archival Businesses

In October 2009, the Altai Territory Department for Culture was reorganized by joining the Altai Territory archival business Department, the Altai Territory Department for Culture and the archival business^[3] were formed].

The Altai Territory Administration for Culture and archival business (Altayarchivkultura) was an executive body of the Altai Territory, implementing a state policy in the field of culture on the territory of the Altai Territory, art, cinematography, art education, authorized in the field of state protection of cultural heritage objects in the Altai Territory and in the field of archival businesses, carrying out state management of archival businesses in the Altai Territory^[4].
