Oleg Pekos has been appointed to the post of First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies. Previously, he worked as First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technology and Communications on Digital Economy and e-Government. Pekos graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after M. A. Bonch-Bruevich in the direction of "Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies." At Uzbectelecom, he headed the Telecommunications Transport Networks department.
Ministry of Digital Development Uzbekistan Yeshe became one of the deputy heads in 2023, Zhamol Makhsudov who worked as the director for promising development and innovation of Uzbectelecom, and in 2017 for some time was the deputy head of Mininfokom.
In addition, Rustam Olimzhon ugli Karimzhonov was appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan. Since June 2020, he worked as Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Highways in 2009 and the Salbridge International School of Business in the Republic of Korea in 2011. He worked as director of the Center for Innovation, Technology and Strategy at INR.
Shukhrat Kadirov retained the position of Director of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Ministry of Digital Technologies. He has been in this post since 2020.
In 1998, he graduated from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications with a degree. He began his career in 1998 as a marketing manager at the Uzbectelecom Tashkent International Telecommunication Center. Shukhrat Kadirov headed Uzbectelecom (2017-2018) and a number of private companies.[1]

Reorganization into the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 21.12.2022 No. UP-269, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been reformed into the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.[2]
Launch IT Development Program
