2015: Creation of the center for development of robots
On December 16, 2015 it became known of creation in Russia of the center for development of robots. The decree on it was signed by the president Vladimir Putin, and the relevant document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
As reported in the decree, the National center of development of technologies and basic elements of robotics is created for development of research and production capacity of defense industry complex of the Russian Federation.
Specialists of the center will be engaged in monitoring and the organization of works in the field of robotics of military, special and dual purpose, development of key technologies of production of robotic complexes, development of effective components of robotics and methodical maintenance of tests of robotics.
Orders will come to the National center from federal executive authorities through the Military-industrial commission of the Russian Federation. The fund of perspective researches will supervise the project.
The new decree of Vladimir Putin also enters robotic complexes of military, special and dual purpose to number of the priority directions of development of science, technologies and the equipment in Russia.
It is entrusted to government to implement decree provisions during the three-months period December, 2015 — March of the 2016th.[1]
