2017: Creation

On December 5, 2017 the Russian Space Systems (RSS) holding entering into Roskosmos announced creation  of an operating company of services on the basis of network of high-precision satellite positioning. The new structure under the name of National Network of High-precision Positioning (NNHPP) LLC which was a part of RKS is created for distribution of services of high-precision navigation on the basis of GLONASS system.

NSVP provides  with a modern working environment of large corporate clients and individual entrepreneurs and also will control quality and reliability of services of high-precision positioning.

In Russia the uniform operator of high-precision navigation appeared

Today it is important to interest and involve the companies and individuals in the widest use of high-precision navigation. For them the specialized web portal of the operator who will help the companies or individual entrepreneurs to receive services is already created and to be connected to services of the integration computing platform. With large corporate clients we will continue to work at principles of contracts — the deputy CEO of RKS for works in the field of forecast space monitoring Anatoly Perminov reported.

Creation of an operating company of services on the basis of high-precision satellite positioning became a part of the project of RKS on integration Russia of the adjusting stations operating in the territory of into a single network with the optimized topology, a unified plan of development and the corresponding regulatory framework. The project is implemented at the request of the vice-chairman Governments of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin.

Also the agreement on participation in the project of JSC "Russian Railways" as large owner of networks of differential geodetic stations and consumer of services of high-precision positioning was reached, reported in RKS.
