The hacker invasion was recorded at the end of July 2025. In both chains of pharmacies (Stolichki is part of the Neopharm holding), they confirmed the fact of the hack, saying that the attack provoked technical failures. At the same time, the work of retail outlets was disrupted.
The team of specialists is actively working to fix the problem and restore all services. To date, some of our pharmacies are already open to visitors. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your support, "Neopharm said in a statement.
According to the Telegram channel Mash, due to a cyber attack, pharmacies are forced to sell drugs from availability - new ones cannot be ordered. The payment of salaries to employees is delayed, since it is impossible to generate work reports for the month. At the same time, the following notification appeared on the websites of both pharmacy chains:
Dear customers, the chain's pharmacies are resuming their work. You can already place orders at these pharmacies. While the points are not working, but soon you will see them in your personal account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications information technology and Mass Media () Roskomnadzor told the City News Agency "" Moscow that the agency does not have signs of compromising the data of customers of the attacked pharmacy chains. The companies themselves also claim that there was no leakage of personal information. Specialists are engaged in the restoration loyalty programs of other services.[1]
Hacking the network of pharmacies "Stolichki" and closing points throughout Moscow
On July 29, 2025, the IT infrastructure of the Stolichki pharmacy network was subjected to a hacker attack. As a result of the invasion, the operation of various systems was disrupted, which forced the company to close outlets throughout Moscow.
According to the Telegram channel Mash, the cyber attack provoked failures in the work of cash registers and accounting systems. Management sent pharmacy employees to take time off. The network's website talks about technical problems. Features such as booking and viewing loyalty program data do not work. Details about the incident were not disclosed. According to Mash, it may take several days to eliminate the consequences of cyber intrusion.
Dear customers, some pharmacies of the network do not work for technical reasons. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Unavailable functions will be restored in the near future, - said in the notification.
The Stolichki social pharmacy network is part of the Neopharm holding. As of July 2025, Stolichki unites more than 1000 pharmacies in 80 cities of the Central and North-Western districts of the Russian Federation. Most of the points are located in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in St. Petersburg, Tula, Kostroma and Vladimir.[2]

2022: State Duma deputy Yevgeny Nifantyev sold pharmacy assets
State Duma Deputy Yevgeny Nifantyev transferred the rights to 99.99% of Neo-Pharm LLC, which manages the Neopharm and Stolichki pharmacy chains, to the Zdravinvest closed mutual investment fund (ZPIF) under the management of Modern Real Estate Funds (formerly Sberbank Real Estate Funds). The deal was closed on July 1, 2022, according to data from the SPARK-Interfax system.
Another 0.01% of Neopharm LLC is still owned by Lydia Nifantieva, mother of Yevgeny Nifantiev, ex-general director of Neopharm pharmacy chains. By July 8, 2022, this position is held by Oleg Ivanushkin.
The fact that Evgeny Nifantyev sold pharmacy assets was noticed. " Sheets The State Duma deputy confirmed to the publication that he no longer owns Neo-Pharm, and added that it "came under the control of several dozen shareholders who are not familiar with each other." He did not name their exact number and their names, specifying only that each of them owns from 1 to 10% of the total number of shares.
These are mainly people who have previously invested in real estate, - said Evgeny Nifantyev.
Experts interviewed by the publication estimated the market value of two pharmacy chains at 55-70 billion rubles. According to market participants, the sale of networks to a closed mutual fund will protect assets from secondary sanctions, so the deal to transfer rights to the company to the fund may be cash-strapped. Such funds are usually used, among other things, to conceal the ultimate beneficiaries. The lack of communication between shareholders will not allow them to unite and sell shares to each other, concentrating a controlling stake in the company in their hands, said Nikolai Bespalov, development director of the analytical company RNC Pharma.
On March 24, 2022, Yevgeny Nifantyev, like other 327 State Duma deputies, was included in the sanctions list of the US Treasury.
By July 2022, Neo-Farm has more than 1,000 pharmacies in 80 cities in the Central and North-Western districts.[3]
2018: Online Sales Monitoring Pilot
The pharmaceutical manufacturer of Bosnia and Herzegovina "Bosnalek" and the Russian pharmacy chain "Neopharm" on July 25, 2018 signed an agreement on the provision of online cash registers in connection with the entry into force of the 54-FZ law on the use of cash registers. The transition to the updated reporting format in full will occur from the fourth quarter of 2018.
As noted, Bosnalek has begun to work out a mechanism for disclosing data from online pharmacy cash registers on the sale of its drugs together with its strategic partner, the Neopharm group of companies. For the entire retail market as a whole, this is another step towards ensuring transparency of the movement of goods in the chain from manufacturer to consumer, in addition to mandatory drug labeling, which will become mandatory for all manufacturers from the beginning of 2020.
According to Valentina Buchneva, head of the Bosnalek Eurasia business unit, the open relationship between drug manufacturers and pharmacy chains will make it possible to more accurately plan production processes, assess product stocks on pharmacy shelves and make adjustments to supply schedules, ensuring uninterrupted supply of medicines to the population. In addition, the disclosure of sales information according to online cash registers demonstrates the readiness of the pharmacy chain to interact with reliable partners - drug manufacturers.
Mutual interest in maximum transparency in doing business has become the basis of this pilot project between the two companies. Neopharm is one of the few pharmacy chains technically ready to open online cash registers without transferring any personal data of the buyer, and the first network that will test this mechanism in practice thanks to a partnership with Bosnalek, - said the founder of the Neopharm pharmacy chain Yevgeny Nifantyev.
