History

2021: Raising $0.5 million

In mid-August 2021, the developer of the Qase software testing management platform raised $500 thousand as part of the sowing round. The round was led by the S16VC fund with the participation of FinSight Ventures and ExpoCapital. The funds raised will allow the company to strengthen its development and marketing team, as well as establish more partnerships in the USA and Europe. The founder and CEO of the company Nikita Fedorov noted that the company plans to double the number of its team, which by August consists of 10 people.

The software testing market offers many options for workflow automation and testing assistance. Qase differs from competitors in that it offers its customers an unlimited number of users with read-only access, which helps to attract developers, product managers and others to the software testing process. This allows users to focus on product quality and invest heavily in integration with popular software testing platforms to save customers time to integrate.

Talking about the opening of Qase, the company's CEO Nikita Fedorov noted:

I wanted to find a test management system that would meet my requirements: tracking both manual and automated tests using a single tool. All solutions looked somewhat outdated and were focused only on manual testing.

Fedorov worked on his idea for two years before the first version of Qase appeared, which almost immediately received good support. Regarding future software testing, Fedorov says QA engineers should stop performing manual testing to focus on research testing and overall product quality.[1]
