2019: Ford became the owner of Quantum Signal

On August 1, 2019 Ford Motor Company announced acquisition robotic of Quantum Signal company to accelerate start of the business direction on development and production unmanned vehicles. Quantum Signal specializes in creation software for management robotic transport of means at distance and testing of the autonomous and remotely-controlled robotic systems in virtual environment.

From the moment of foundation of Quantum Signal, located in the city of Seyline, Michigan, works on mobile robotics for numerous clients, including for law enforcement agencies. So, Quantum Signal helped military to develop the software allowing to manage far off robotic vehicles from distance in thousands of miles.

Quantum Signal gained recognition for development of the environment of modeling under the name ANVEL which is used in programs of military robotics for a research of performance of the remotely-controlled pilotless systems. Thanks to examination of the company, Ford will be able to create more difficult complex environments of modeling in which it will be possible to test vehicles and business models on performance improvement.
