Robot Control Technologies

Company

The main objective which is set before themselves by developers — as much as possible to facilitate installation and adjustment of work of the software on large-scale industrial productions and "make friends" among themselves the robots who are carrying out different tasks. It will allow business to lower costs for implementation new hardware and the software as on the high-precision productions and projects providing implementation of robots, the cost of software can reach 60% of project cost.

Salarian Capital

In April 2017 RCML it was succeeded to attract $200 thousand from Salarian Capital fund.

Cloud grant of Microsoft

In May, 2017 within the final GenerationS startup accelerator from RVC the most perspective technology projects were selected. Developers of the RCML project (robot control metalanguage) who in addition to a grant will get full mentor and technology support from business experts of Microsoft became the owner of a grant on use of a cloud platform of Microsoft.

In addition to a grant on use of a cloud platform for $120,000 and mentoring of Microsoft the project which took the third place in the general final of GenerationS received more than 4 million rubles on further development.

According to World Robotics 2016 today the industrial robot market is estimated at 11.5 billion dollars, and the market of program systems for industrial robots makes 38 billion dollars. The purpose of creators RCML was to facilitate as much as possible installation and setup of work of the software on large industrial enterprises and to make possible harmonious operation of robots of different producers, having reduced at the same time costs for new software.

For solution of the problem of interactions of robotic complexes creators of the project, Mikhail Tyulkin and Dmitry Sutormin, decided to change a development approach and paid attention to programming not of the robot, and to programming of a task. It allowed to create the system of unification for coordination of robotics. Today RCML cooperates with the largest producers of industrial KUKA robots (Germany) and FANUC (Japan).
