History
2018: Rutall acquired by NTS
On April 9, 2018, the National Telematic Systems (NTS) Group of Companies announced the completion of a transaction to acquire a 100% stake in Rutall, the Russian center of competence for creating charging systems. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Rutall specializes in the development of barrier-type identification, monitoring and charging systems (with toll collection points at the entrance to toll roads). Thanks to its acquisition, the NTS group of companies continues to increase its own expertise in the creation of transport telematics systems, explained Alexey Nashchekin, General Director of the NTS management company.
According to him, the acquisition of Rutall was a logical step in the implementation of a strategy for building a full-cycle high-tech holding capable of performing large projects both in Russia and in the EAEU countries and southeast Asia, where there is a demand for Russian technologies.[1]
