2023: Creation of a company to build residential complexes in the Arctic

In December 2023, the Samolet group signed a memorandum of intent with the government of the Murmansk region on the implementation of an investment project for the integrated development of territories. As part of this agreement, the Russian developer will be engaged in the construction of the first residential complexes in the Arctic zone.

As RIA Real Estate writes with reference to the representative of Samolet, a new residential complex with a total area of ​ ​ 90 thousand square meters. m for 2 thousand residents will be erected in the city of Kola (satellite city of Murmansk) on Pomorskaya Street. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 9 billion rubles. For its implementation, the company "SZ" Project-S-70 "was created, which was assigned the status of a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.

According to Kontur.Focus, LLC Specialized Developer Project-s-70 was registered on December 11, 2023. The authorized capital of the company is 10 thousand rubles. The 100% owner of this company is Airplane-Regions, which, in turn, are part of the Airplane group.

According to RBC, at the end of 2022, the Murmansk region was at the end of the housing commissioning rating among all regions of Russia: the volume of housing built per resident of the region was 0.02 square meters. m - this is the lowest figure in the country. The fact that a large developer will soon come to the region was announced earlier in December 2023 by the governor of the Murmansk region, Andrei Chibis. He said that negotiations with potential investors were held earlier, and specifically in 2019-2020. But then there was no demand for housing in the region, "everyone invested in square meters outside the Murmansk region."

The regional government, together with Airplane-Regions LLC, has been preparing housing construction projects in the Murmansk agglomeration since September 2023. Several priority plots have been identified, a detailed study of the parameters and mechanisms of housing construction is underway, - says the Telegram channel of Andrei Chibis.[1]
