2017: Increase in total investments to $700 million

In September 2017, Salesforce.com announced the creation of an investment fund that will provide financial support to startups specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. With this initiative, the company celebrated the first anniversary since the launch of the Einstein AI platform, which analyzes data and gives companies recommendations on its business processes.

The $50 million fund was formed by the venture capital division of Salesforce Ventures, which appeared in 2009.
