2025: Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkacheva acquired "Selkom "

In mid-January 2025, it became known that TD Agrocomplex LLC, part of the Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkachev, in November 2024 became the sole owner of Selkom in the Donetsk People's Republic. The company specializes in the production of grain and leguminous crops.

According to Vedomosti, the acquired company became the first official asset of the holding in the new region. Prior to this transaction, Selkom owned the South Region trading house from the Rostov Region, which also owns significant shares in Donetsk and Lugansk agro-industrial companies and full control over Zaporozhye-agro.

Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkachev, owned by the family of the former minister agriculture Russia (2015-2018) and ex-governor of the Krasnodar Territory (2001-2015) Alexander Tkachev, unites 30 agricultural enterprises in the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region. The holding is engaged in animal husbandry, crop production, agricultural processing, food production and retail.

According to Befl, in 2023 the company ranked second among the largest owners of agricultural land in Russia, second only to Miratorg. The holding manages a land fund with an area of ​ ​ 1.13 million hectares.

Sovekon director Andrei Sizov notes that the sanctions risks for the agricultural holding when entering new regions are minimal, given that Alexander Tkachev has been under sanctions European Union since 2014.

In 2022, the holding has already expanded its presence in new regions, acquiring the Crimean agro-industrial complex "Friendship of Peoples." This asset includes pig farms, a meat processing plant, agricultural land and the Crimean Fruit Company.

General Director of Infoline Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov emphasizes that Agrocomplex named after N. I. Tkachev is actively developing in new regions, including Crimea. In these areas, there is a high demand for food products and network retail, which opens up additional opportunities for business development.[1]
