In 2013, the shipping company Volga Shipping Company, one of the leading transport companies, provides cargo transportation needs for 7 republics, 16 industrial regions of Russia. About 200 ships operate in navigation, of which 74 are ships for transporting goods along the rivers of Russia of the Volga-Don type, 10 Project RSD44 ships, 50 pusher tugs, 78 non-self-propelled ships (barges), as well as service, auxiliary and technical fleets.
The shipping company has four branches - fleet maintenance bases: Borskaya, Volzhskaya, Gorodetskaya, Zvenigovskaya.
