The State Committee of the Republic of Mordovia for Labor and Employment was an executive body state Republics of Mordovia exercising powers in the field of labor and employment promotion, population was a member of the executive bodies of state power of the Republic of Mordovia and the system of the state employment service.
History
2017: Abolition
By Decree of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia of September 21, 2017 No. 212-UG "On changing the structure of the executive bodies of state power of the Republic of Mordovia and amending the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia of November 21, 2005 No. 187-UG"[1] the Republic of Mordovia[1], the State Committee of the Republic of Mordovia on labor and employment was abolished. The powers of the State Committee of the Republic of Mordovia on labor and employment were transferred to the Ministry of Social Protection, Labor and Employment of the Republic of Mordovia.
2011: Activities of the State Committee of the Republic of Mordovia on Labor and Employment
Assistance in employment, vocational training and career guidance, material support for the unemployed, participation with employers in creating jobs - all this contributes to maintaining a stable situation in the labor market.
During its existence, the public employment service has proven its necessity and viability, its role in the field of employment and solving problems of a social nature, in the development of economic life of the population has become more and more noticeable.
In 2011, with the assistance of the employment service bodies of the Republic of Mordovia, 26.2 thousand people found work.
The created system for the implementation of the state employment policy operates quite effectively in the republic, a flexible labor market has been formed, the main distinctive feature of which is the absence of mass unemployment.
