2022: Attracting 100 million rubles of investment

The developer of 5D printers Stereotech attracted 100 million rubles of investment, which was announced on February 11, 2022. The company invested a venture fund of the National Technology Initiative (STI) under the management of Kama Flow. In 2019, VEB Ventures joined the fund.

Valuation and other parameters of the investment transaction are not disclosed. This is Stereotech's first investment, before that it attracted grants in the amount of 15.5 million rubles.

The 5DTech technology developed by the company can be used in completely different industries: aviation, automotive, prosthetics, construction. It also allows you to achieve record levels of strength (a sample of ABS plastic gives a strength of 130 MPa) and printing speed, unattainable by 3D printers.

According to the company, the technology allows to increase the strength of parts up to 400%. Stereotech printers can be used to print generic parts rather than samples. This saves up to 3 million rubles a year on one type of parts. the possible economic effect of using a printer farm at a plant of average size may, according to company experts, be 200 million rubles per year. The cost per gram of printed product varies depending on the material used

The 5DTech technology developed by the startup shows high commercial efficiency. But in addition, it is "through," that is, it can be used in completely different industries, from aviation to medical prosthetics. In the future, printers will take the place of warehouses and delivery services, allowing you to print the necessary part and goods as soon as possible.
