JSC Tyumen Plant of Medical Equipment and Tools (JSC TZMOI) was founded in 1962. As of September 2021, TZMOI JSC is a Russian manufacturer of medical equipment. The products manufactured by the plant are included in the list of the most important and vital medical equipment.
History
2024: Machine farm expansion
The resident of the special economic zone "Technopolice Moscow," the company "TZMOI," has significantly expanded its machine farm in order to improve the productivity and quality of the products produced. Among the equipment are numerically controlled machines with 3D processing capabilities. This was announced on September 28, 2024 by the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
TZMOI is one of the domestic manufacturers of medical equipment for infection control. The plant produces sterilization and disinfection equipment necessary for the uninterrupted functioning of medical and preventive institutions. Its range includes steam and low-temperature plasma sterilizers, medical waste disinfection plants, and disinfection and washing machines.
In 2023, the company doubled its production area - up to 3.3 thousand square meters. meters, and in 2024, retrofitted the technological lines with five machines that will increase labor productivity and improve the quality of products, - said Anatoly Garbuzov. |
In 2023, TZMOI opened a metalworking and robotic welding workshop. This is a machine-building complex with a high degree of automation of the technological process, which made it possible to increase the volume of mass production by more than 25%.
TZMOI has been a resident of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ since 2020. The company is actively investing in expanding production capacities. The next batch of machines will significantly reduce labor costs and depreciation of the existing machine fleet. The enterprise's capacities are capable of producing more than 1,500 units of high-tech medical equipment per year, "said Gennady Dogtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ. |
2023: Investment of 240 million rubles in the production of sterilizers and cabinets for storing endoscopes
In March 2023, the Tyumen Medical Equipment and Tools Plant (TZMOI), which previously received the status of a resident of the Technopolice Moscow special economic zone, announced an investment of 240 million rubles in expanding the production of steam sterilizers, cabinets for aseptic storage of endoscopes and disinfection and washing equipment. About 190 million rubles will be the company's own funds.
Thanks to this project, the capacity of the company's enterprise in the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow" will increase by a quarter, and the area of the enterprise will double and amount to 3.2 thousand square meters. m
TZMOI JSC will expand the area to increase serial production and increase the pace of localization of production of steam sterilizers, cabinets for aseptic storage of endoscopes and disinfection and washing equipment - these products belong to the company's own developments - said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow investment and industrial policy department. |
According to him, the localization process is implemented by placing capacities in Russia, as well as using components of its own production or the production of other Russian enterprises.
JSC "TZMOI" produces sterilizers, disinfection and washing equipment, installations for disinfection of medical waste and other equipment for infection control. It is noted that the increase in the percentage of localization of production has already shown a good result. For example, disinfection and washing machines have a 100% share of localization.
The Tyumen plant of medical equipment and tools began active work in this direction even before the COVID-19 pandemic and sanctions. Last year, this helped us quickly replace over 60% of parts in products, - said the general director of the plant Alexander Prosviryakov in March 2023.[1] |
2022: Launch of equipment for disinfection of endoscopic products in the SEZ "Technopolice Moscow"
In February 2022, the Tyumen Medical Equipment and Tools Plant (TZMOI), which previously received the status of a resident of Technopolice Moscow, launched a new production facility for disinfection of medical devices in this special economic zone.
The company began to produce completely Russian cabinets for drying and safe storage of endoscopes. The capacity of the enterprise is designed for the production of 400 units per year. Together with the washing for endoscopes previously created by the resident, the equipment forms the first Russian complex solution for disinfection of medical devices, said Alexander Prokhorov, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital.
As a result of the retrofitting of the site, the TSMOI enterprise has the opportunity to produce more of its own components and achieve 100% localization for a number of products, that is, to produce completely domestic products. So, in particular, the new complex for the processing of endoscopes takes into account both the wishes of doctors and the conditions of its operation - the features of water, air, electric voltage, - said Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ. |
Drying and aseptic storage cabinets are represented by two models of 4 and 8 endoscopes, respectively. They provide a vertical storage method recommended by endoscope manufacturers. The air entering the chamber is passed through the HEPA filtration system, then additionally treated with UV lamps. Aseptic storage, that is, the preservation of products in a disinfected state, is ensured by blocking the flow of "dirty air." This is done when overpressure is injected inside the cabinet. Under such conditions, endoscopes can be stored for up to 10 days.
The new equipment has low power consumption, which saves resources. The cabinet comes with universal connectors and allows you to connect endoscopes from different manufacturers.[2]
