2010: Results of operation of the main digital communication network (ICSS) and the company's networks TransTeleCom

In 2010, the number of emergencies increased compared to 2009. The most common cause of accidents was force majeure, acts of vandalism, violations of the rules for the protection of communication lines and unauthorized actions. But even with an increase in the accident rate, it was possible to reduce the average time to restore network performance.

Thanks to the good training of specialists, the spring flood period passed normally without emergencies and without threats of breaking the fiber-optic cable (WOC). During the fire hazardous period caused by the abnormal heat, there were no communication breaks due to fires.

Operation of power supply plants in 2010. passed in normal mode. Due to accidents on the power lines and longitudinal power supply networks of Russian Railways in Moscow and the Moscow Region, during a period of severe icing on December 26, 2010, 17 main nodes were de-energized, but thanks to the operational actions of the TransTeleCom Center Network Management Center and ETC, there were no communication interruptions.
