=== * 2025: "Farmland" bought the chain of pharmacies "Unifarma"
The pharmacy chain Farmland has completed the acquisition of the Moscow retail chain Unifarma. The deal closed in mid-October 2025.
According to the publication "Pharmaceutical Bulletin," information about the change of ownership was sent to partners in an official letter. The CEO of the company, Albert Khaivatov, signed a notice stating the continuation of all contracts. Obligations to counterparties are fulfilled in full. Operating activities, supply of goods, mutual settlements and marketing projects continue unchanged.
Albert Haivatov confirmed to the publication the completion of the transaction. Shareholders decided to sell the asset after receiving a decent offer from the buyer. The head noted that Farmland was a long-term partner of the company in this direction.
The commercial director of Unifarma Konstantin Tiunov said that the team is pleased with the choice of the buyer. The parties have already interacted during the previous transaction. Konstantin Tiunov left the company after completing the transfer of the business to the new owner.
Part of the network management will retain its position and will become part of the unified team of the Moscow office of Farmland. The position of CEO of the company was taken by Victoria Litvinova. Pharmacies will continue to function under the previous brand name.
The head of the analytical company AlphaRM Nikolai Demidov shared his assessment of the situation on the pharmaceutical market. In his opinion, the window of opportunity for point strengthening of presence in regional markets is open not only for federal operators. Major regional players can also claim larger targets due to limited competition from federal networks. Among federal operators, only the Rigla network conducts consistent expansion through mergers and acquisitions in the regions. The final success will be determined by the ability to quickly and efficiently integrate the acquired assets.[1]
