2025: Partner Program Technology Expansion

VolgaBlob has updated its partner program. Now the partner sales channel becomes the only one, and program participants can access data the Smart Data Lab, use the repository that stores open materials and product developments, Smart Monitor as well as install a demo version of the system with ready-made data samples and tools for analyzing them. The innovations are aimed at improving partner experience and developing a partner ecosystem. The company announced this on March 27, 2025.

The VolgaBlob partner network already has more than 30 companies. These are primarily integrators and resellers who implement data monitoring projects for their customers based on the Smart Monitor platform. In addition, the company has launched a technological partnership - VolgaBlob customers can expand the functionality of Smart Monitor using partner modules available through the corporate marketplace of the SM Store vendor.

The development of the partner channel is one of the key business tasks for the VolgaBlob team. As of March 2025, work is carried out in several directions at once: systematization of knowledge, training and development of presale engineers on the side of partners, expansion of cooperation with MSSP service providers, as well as assistance to development teams that create their own modules for Smart Monitor. In order to improve the process of interaction with partners and get them closer to the product, the company launched several innovations that were announced at the partnership conference on March 25.

First of all, from April 1, 2025, all deliveries of Smart Monitor licenses will be carried out only through partners. This decision shows that VolgaBlob intends to seriously invest in the partner channel and make it key. The company departs from the supply of licenses on its own.

Another important innovation is the Smart Data Lab. This is a separate Internet resource where the Smart Monitor installation is deployed with a full set of functionality. Smart Data Lab simulates the work of a virtual company - for this, synthetic data on existing business processes from applied information systems, IT infrastructure, as well as information security events are uploaded to the site. Users can model different use cases for a product as if they were working with data from an existing business company.

In addition, the Smart Monitor Hub repository has become available to partners - it stores technical developments: information about connecting sources, ready-made connectors. Partners can use data from the repository to speed up the start of the project, and share their own developments in private or public mode. In the first case, only the vendor team will see them. If the partner is ready to invest in a common partner network, he can upload files to public access so that other program participants can familiarize themselves with them. VolgaBlob as a vendor will separately celebrate such initiatives - the company encourages partners to develop their own modules and contributes to their monetization.

The repository will act as a technological "window" for the interaction of partners and the vendor, as well as the exchange of knowledge. As of March 2025, the repository contains materials from VolgaBlob and the partner company NN2 Group.

Finally, through the VolgaBlob partner portal, it became possible to get a ready-made Docker container, thanks to which you can deploy Smart Monitor with ready-made data samples, dashboards, customized PCM metrics, incidents and a number of modules in a few minutes. The demo end can be deployed on an infrastructure or even a personal PC. In this case, the user can supplement the stand with his content - for example, add his own module, source or display script. The tool will be useful for conducting demonstrations or familiarizing yourself with the product. The materials contain instructions for the demonstration and various scenarios for using the solution.

Performance indicators

2024: Revenue and net income growth of more than 30%

VolgaBlob summed up the work for 2024. The company's revenue and net income increased by more than 30% compared to 2023. At the same time, revenue from sales of the company's flagship product, the data analysis and processing platform Smart Monitor, increased by 68%. And the average daily volume of client data that Smart Monitor analyzes exceeded 2.4 petabytes - the figure rose by 633% in two years. The company announced this on February 19, 2025.

At the end of 2024, revenue increased by 31%, and net profit - by 33%. The unit revenue per employee exceeded 15%, while in 2023 this figure was 11%.

The company's clients include seaports, financial institutions, industrial holdings, government agencies and others. The international line of business has expanded, including presence in countries such as Brazil, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria.

Revenues from sales of the company's flagship product, the Smart Monitor data platform, designed for analysis, business processes umbrella IT monitoring, building/, have increased significantly. In SOCSIEM 2024, revenue in this area increased by 68%, while in 2023 the growth was 57%. The solution is in demand both in the Russian and global markets - in the international segment, the installation base of the product has become five times larger in a year.

Historically, the focus for us has been on cybersecurity projects. However, we see an increased demand for monitoring the entire IT infrastructure and business processes, which perfectly fits into the logic of our platform. Smart Monitor has more and more different functional modules with which the platform can replace a large number of foreign solutions and become the basis for full-fledged umbrella monitoring in companies, "said Alexander Skakunov, CEO of VolgaBlob.

He notes that the total number of Smart Monitor platform installations increased by 46% year-on-year, and the average daily volume of customer data that the platform analyzes exceeded 2.4 PB, an increase of 663% over 2 years.

As part of the development of the Smart Monitor platform, the SM Store was launched, in which functional modules of the platform are available - specialized applications designed to solve a specific task of a client from the fields of IT, information security or business monitoring. The SM Store provides development modules for both the VolgaBlob team and its partners.

Several platform updates were also carried out, including the interface, visualizations, as well as the Smart Beat Manager data collection tool. In addition, machine learning commands have become available on the platform. Updates are aimed primarily at improving the efficiency and speed of working with data.

Throughout the year, the company paid close attention to the development of the partner channel. Cooperation is carried out in several main areas: systematization of knowledge and development of presale engineers, cooperation with SOCs providing MSSP services, assistance to development teams on the side of partners creating their own modules for Smart Monitor. Also, on the basis of the VolgaBlob resource center, training for engineers took place - over the past year, 135 people passed it, which is 15% more than a year earlier.

In 2025, the company plans to continue expanding its partner business, as well as focus on promoting the concept of companies' antichroppiness, their resilience in response to possible threats and any "perfect storm" through the efficient use of data.

From a technical point of view, in 2025 we will focus on the functional development of our Search Anywhere data search and analysis technology and continue to improve hybrid storage, allowing seamless integration of different data arrays. In the context of a shortage of hardware computing power, this approach can significantly reduce financial costs for infrastructure. In addition, we plan to direct efforts to expand the "lineup" of platform functional modules. 2025: Initiator of the "Alliance of Developers in the Field of Monitoring"

The Alliance of Developers in the Field of Monitoring has appeared in Russia. The initiators of the creation of the professional community were also VolgaBlob. The purpose of the association is to create an open platform for the exchange of expertise, joint development of solutions, as well as increasing the attractiveness of domestic products for large companies and their export potential. 2014: Smart Monitor PC Development

Since 2014, VolgaBlob representatives have been developing the Smart Monitor software package, which allows full-fledged search and analysis of Big Data in the corporate information system. Since 2019, the solution has been using open source software.

2013: Partnership with Splunk
