2023: Investing $100 million in construction of logistics center in Almaty
On February 8, 2023, it became known about the decision of Wildberries to build a logistics center in Alma-Ata and invest $100 million in it. The agreement was reached following a meeting between the head of the city Yerbolat Dosaev and the general director of the Russian company Tatyana Bakalchuk.
The latter noted that the construction of a logistics center will automatically open access for Kazakh manufacturers to markets in all regions of Wildberries' presence. Thus, by February 2023, the products of Kazakhstani manufacturers have already been presented on the marketplace site and in the near future the assortment will increase, TASS reports.

According to the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan, at the end of 2021, the turnover on the Wildberries platform amounted to 60.7 billion tenge. 2022: Khorgos Sorting Centre opens

The emergence of logistics centers will increase the speed of delivery of orders for residents of Kazakhstan. Agreement on the construction of two large distribution centers in Kazakhstan

Agreement with Kazakh Invest on opening of Wildberries Electronic Expertise Center in Kazakhstan

According to Wildberries representatives, their launch will allow, first of all, small and medium-sized businesses to obtain the necessary knowledge and tools for successful online trading (training courses, photo studios), simplify interaction with the company and reduce the logistics leverage by directly accepting goods in the Centers, from where they will be redirected to Wildberries distribution warehouse complexes. The emergence of the Centers in the future will increase the volume of non-resource exports of the country thanks to the active work of Wildberries in the territory of 5 EAEU countries and the planned exit of the company to the EU.
The launch of the first Center for Electronic Expertise will take place in 2019 in the capital of the Republic - the city of Nur-Sultan.
2018: Wildberries.kz turnover grew by 65% to 13 billion tenge
In 2018, the turnover of the online store of Wildberries.kz operating in Kazakhstan increased by 65% to 13 billion tenge. The most popular products were clothes and shoes (sales share - 69%), accessories (9%), children's goods (4%), beauty goods (3%), household appliances and electronics (3%). The number of orders increased by 61% to 1.9 million units, and the number of customers - also by 61% to 164 thousand people. In total, the Wildberries chain of points of issue of orders has over 4,500 points as of July 1, 2019, 120 of which are located in Kazakhstan. In 2018, the company opened about 50 points of issue of orders in the Republic.
