"Zerocoder" is an online university specializing in teaching programming with little or no program code writing. We are talking about the so-called visual programming.
Zerokoder was founded in 2021 by serial entrepreneur Vadim Mikhalev, former product manager Tinkoff Leonid Byakov, Unisender co-owner Dmitry Solovyov and co-founder of Finologue and Megaplan Mikhail Smolyanov. Later, the project included Kirill Pshinnik, founder of Megaprop and ex-commercial director of Юниум.ру.

2024: Sergey Solonin bought a stake in Zerocoder
In early April 2024, it became known that the co-founder of QiwiSergey Solonin and the ST Capital venture fund bought shares in the Zerocoder online programming school (Zerokoder LLC). In addition, its general director Kirill Pshinnik increased his share in the named service.
The Zerocoder platform was founded in 2021. This is an online university that helps you learn how to create IT products without using code. Development is carried out through a visual programming interface using ready-made solutions. Webinars and intensives are available on the platform, and training is adapted for active and daily use. Zerocoder University offers various courses: Python programming, web development, the creation of mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as promt engineering. It is noted that the average age of students is 40 years. As of April 2024, the number of graduates of the online school reached approximately 7 thousand.
Zerocoder students can choose among several fares. Basic assumes feedback on homework. Pupils can come to QA sessions and ask questions of experts, and can also take advantage of a free consultation on the graduation project. When you select a business rate, you can access additional business courses and business chat with orders. The VIP plan provides a course payback guarantee, and personal managers will develop an individual training program.
It is reported that Solonin acquired a 3.46 percent stake in Zerocoder, ST Capital - 13.04 percent. Przynnik, in turn, increased participation from 0.83% to 5.91%. At the same time, Anatoly Solovyov reduced his shares - from 37.42% to 25.98%, Oleg Dorokhov - from 29.32% to 24.33%, Sergey Petrakovsky - from 15% to 12.45%, Solid Management JSC - 6% to 4.98%.[1]
2022: Attraction of RUR 20 mln
On January 25, 2022, it became known about investing 20 million in the rubles Zerokoder online programming school. A co-founder Qiwi Sergey Solonin and two managers "" invested in it. Yandex As a result of the investment transaction, EdTech-startup was estimated at 200 million rubles, the company said.
Zerokoder intends to spend the funds raised on the creation of new educational products and promotion in the regions of Russia. By 2023, Zerokoder plans to teach knockoding (programming without code) to the first 100 thousand Russians.
The company expects that in 5 years, 60% of programmers' tasks will be done by people using solutions that do not require code knowledge (reported on the Zerocoder website in January 2022).
According to the co-founder of the project Vadim Mikhalev, the school helps people without technical education to start working in the IT sphere and increase their income, and also increases the number of specialists in the market.
Training residents of Russian regions in promising professions is an urgent social task that is being solved by state development institutions, private impact investors, and entrepreneurs, he said. |
