Biography

In 2000, Denis Volkov graduated from Voronezh State Technical University with a degree in design and drawing in electrical engineering and electronics, including using CAD.

In 2015, he received an MBA in production and operational management from the Moscow International Higher School of Business.

From 2005 to 2006 he worked as a leading engineer at AMT Group.

2008: CEO of Intelligent Systems

Since 2008, he headed the Intelligent Systems company based in Voronezh, and was its co-owner. The company creates integration engineering solutions in various areas: video conferencing systems, studios and conference rooms, deploys corporate telephone and audio conferencing systems, data transmission networks, engineering equipment of data centers, air conditioning and ventilation systems.

According to the Intellectual Systems website, she carried out projects for companies in the commercial and public sectors. Among the state customers of different times on its website are Sberbank, the Federal Treasury, the government of the Voronezh region, the administration of the Lipetsk region, the Tambov Regional Duma, etc.

One of the clients of Intelligent Systems was the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region. By his order, in 2018-2019, the company was engaged in the development and provision of the functioning of the system of guaranteed information exchange of government agencies of the Voronezh region.

The revenue of Intellectual Systems at the end of 2019 was about 134 million rubles.

Head of the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region

In February 2021, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, signed a decree appointing Denis Volkov to the post of head of the region's digital development department, the regional government portal said. Volkov's term of office is limited by Gusev's term of office.
