Ivanov Nikita Borisovich

Nikita Ivanov along with Sergey Belokonev and Alexey Rogozin is considered one of probable successors of Vasily Yakemenko on a post of the head of Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

Education

  • Graduated from department of political science of RGGU.
  • Completed postgraduate studies at Institute of the USA and Canada at RAS.
  • In 2000 - the candidate of political sciences (a thesis: Current trends of development of lobbyism in the USA).

Career

Since 1999 worked in the Fund of Effective Policy (FEP) of Gleb Pavlovsky. In 2001 became the vice president of FEP, having at the same time held a post of the adviser to the deputy administrator of Presidential Administration for foreign policy Sergey Prikhodko. During the presidential campaign of 2004 entered the campaign headquarters of Vladimir Putin. Since 2005th in January 2009 worked in Presidential Administration, being a deputy chief of management on interregional and cultural ties with foreign countries, informally supervising youth movements. After that it is transferred to work in the office of United Russia.

In December, 2012 Nikita Ivanov who is considered the authorized representative of the deputy head of administration of Vladislav Surkov is appointed senator from the Republic of Ingushetia[1].
