Appointment as CEO of Invitro

In mid-January 2024, it was announced the appointment of Yuri Leonov as the new general director of the Invitro group. Prior to that, he headed the network of KDL laboratories (part of the Medskan group of companies).

Yuri Leonov became the general director of Invitro instead of Roman Mironchik, who will remain in the group and will continue to work as chairman of the board of directors. The company also reported that Yulia Polikhova, who previously held the position of first deputy general director of Invitro, is moving to a strategic level of group management. She will lead M&A of projects and investment projects, ensure the formation and implementation of strategic decisions necessary for the further development of Invitro.

The main task set for Yuri Leonov as CEO of Invitro, the group called the company's conclusion to a new level of operational efficiency and development. The press service of the group added that Leonov has many years of experience in leading work in the field of medicine and laboratory diagnostics.

By January 2024, the Invitro group, headed by Yuri Leonov, unites more than 1,900 laboratory offices in Russia and other countries. The holding includes more than 1.8 thousand medical offices in six countries, eight laboratory complexes, its own clinics, as well as the Vet Union company, which provides laboratory services in veterinary medicine. In addition to laboratory diagnostics and medical services, the company cooperates with manufacturers and acts as an operator of clinical trials of drugs and medical devices.[1]

161 million rubles are required from Medskan on debt to Yuri Leonov

In August 2024, the Moscow Arbitration Court is considering a lawsuit in the amount of ₽161 million against the medical holding JSC Medskan, filed by individual entrepreneur Alexandra Litvinova. The claims are related to the debt that arose before the former CEO of the laboratory network KDLUriy Leonov. This debt was transferred to Litvinova on the basis of a cession agreement signed on August 1, 2024. Read more here
