Opening of 260 centers

In 2022, the Invitro network opened more than 260 medical centers in the countries of presence. The press service of the company announced this on April 4, 2023.

As stated in Invitro, the competent development of the franchisor's business, a well-thought-out policy of the geography of discoveries, as well as a general strategy for the development of the network, in which work with franchisees is carried out in the same way as with their own medical centers, contribute to active business growth. It includes comprehensive organizational and marketing support, additional staff training, full control of customer service and other aspects. Investments for the opening of the Invitro medical center range from 3.5 to 5.4 million rubles, the average payback period is 2.5 years, the company said.

"Invitro" in 2022 opened more than 260 medical centers in the countries of presence

In 2022, Invitro introduced the "2 brands" format for operating private medical centers, which allows you to combine the company's office and the medical center of another brand. Thanks to this, franchisees can develop laboratory diagnostics and medical services under two different brands. In the second half of 2022, about 40 franchise partners have already joined the new format, interest in this product continues to grow.

The medical centers of the Invitro network offer more than 3,000 types of laboratory tests, as well as taking gynecological and urological material. In addition to laboratory tests, Invitro has a wide range of additional services that may differ in different medical offices of the network: ultrasound, ECG, colposcopy, injections, vaccination, as well as the appointment of a general practitioner, gynecologist, urologist, pediatrician and other specialists. In many regions, the Home Departure (GNI) service is available, the company added on April 4, 2023.

Opening of premium medical centers

On November 9, 2022, Invitro Group of Companies opened its first clinic in a new format in Moscow. We are talking about premium medical centers.

The pilot medical center was launched in the Moscow City business district. If the experiment is successful, the company will open more such offices in Moscow and the Moscow region.

As Aleksey Serdyuchenko, deputy general director of Invitro Moscow, told Vedomosti, prices in the premium medical center will remain the same as in the capital's points of the traditional format. Customers will have access to a home or office departure service for 1-1.5 hours for 1090 rubles. In addition to the direction of laboratory diagnostics, the center will receive a therapist, gynecologist, cardiologist, urologist, endocrinologist and ultrasound diagnostic doctor. The area of the room has been increased to 300 sq. m instead of the standard 100-150 sq. m.

Invitro could spend at least 5.9-7 million rubles on the project in Moscow City

According to experts interviewed by the newspaper, the opening of a premium medical center can be called a risky step, as private private laboratory and medical networks begin to experiment with budget formats. This is due to a drop in the purchasing power of the population.

Earlier the Meta Bureau company developed for network of medical clinics Invitro the new concept of planning and design solutions for offices from 50 to 350 sq.m. The main task of restyling is the effective use of space, so functional processes will be differentiated into zones: reception, waiting area, treatment rooms, coffee points, children's area. Medical offices will also be arranged with color niches to help organize and streamline the space to make it easier for visitors to navigate the clinic grounds.

As a result, a convenient and comfortable medical office should be obtained, which does not cause direct associations in patients with the medical interior in its standard manifestation, according to Invitro[2]

The service will be provided for a maximum of 7 working days, while regardless of the number of specialists involved and the term of execution, the cost of the service will remain fixed.

At the first stage of remote medical consultations, it is available in Invitro outpatient clinics in the cities of Dmitrov, Naro-Fominsk, Kolomna and Elektrostal near Moscow. Only pediatricians are offered consultations there.

In the future, it is planned to expand the geography of the service and provide it throughout the country - in 180 medical centers of the holding in 40 cities. We see how often people experience difficulties in obtaining advice from a specialized specialist due to long distances or difficulties in organizing this consultation. That is why we expect that this project will help make this help available to everyone, "said Alexander Ostrovsky, founder and head of Invitro.[3]

The beginning of the development of a network of mini-clinics under its own brand

On February 13, 2020, it became known about the launch by Invitro of a new network of small clinics (with an area of 120 to 250 sq. m) under its own brand. In such institutions, laboratory diagnostics services will be offered, and doctors will also be admitted - mainly therapists and gynecologists. However, you can also see a cardiologist, neurologist, traumatologist, etc.

As the representative of Invitro clarified to Vedomosti, the choice of doctors depends on the area of the medical center: the larger it is, the more specialists are receiving.

According to the company, the new medical centers received the most modern equipment, including everything necessary for radiation diagnostics, in particular CT and MRI devices.

As in many existing medical offices of Invitro, the medical centers will introduce Face Detection, an automatic face recognition technology, which, if desired, allows the client to identify him in less than a second, find a medical record and automatically transmit information to the administrator.

The use of the Face Detection system began in 2019, by the end of 2020 it is planned to be implemented in all metropolitan medical offices of the company.

The development of our own network of medical centers under the Invitro brand is a quite logical stage for us, "says Alexander Ostrovsky, founder and general director of Invitro. - We have been working in health care for more than 20 years, we are well aware of the current situation in the field of primary health care organization, and with it the growing need for high-quality and affordable medical care. That is why the concept of relatively small and convenient medical centers within walking distance was chosen.

By February 13, 2020, three diagnostic centers also operate under the Invitro brand - in Moscow, Stary Oskol and Nalchik and two specialized children's medical centers - in St. Petersburg and Dmitrov near Moscow.[4]

2019: Rating of the most popular analyzes among Russians

Invitro, a Russian private holding specializing in laboratory diagnostics and medical services, analyzed data from more than 15 million requests for 2019 and compiled a rating of the most popular analyzes among Russians. The study looked at more than 2,500 types of tests the network of laboratories performed in 2019. The leaders were a clinical blood test, including a complete analysis, leukocyte formula and ESR, a complete urinalysis, as well as a blood glucose test. This became known on February 5, 2020.

The top 5 most popular analyzes are as follows:

  1. Clinical blood test;
  2. Urinalysis;
  3. Glucose (in blood);
  4. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH);
  5. Alanine aminotransferase (AlAT) and Aspartate aminotransferase (AcAT).

The fact that a general blood test is the most popular is quite understandable, because it is usually prescribed both for diseases requiring medical control and for preventive examinations to assess the state of health. Year after year, this analysis remains one of the first diagnostic tools used by physicians of a wide variety of specializations.

A clinical blood test signals malfunctions in major human organs and systems. The analysis helps establish whether there are enough red blood cells (red blood cells) in the blood. Hemoglobin is a substance found in red blood cells. It carries oxygen, without which no cell in the body can exist. A decrease in hemoglobin and red blood cell parameters indicates the development of anemia. By the size of red blood cells, it can be assumed what type of anemia the patient suffers from. If they are less than normal, then anemia is most likely caused by iron deficiency, which is more often associated with its lack of food. When red blood cells are too large, it is evidence of a lack of vitamin V12 or folic acid in the body. An increase in the number of white blood cells indicates the presence of inflammation in the body, and an increase in the number of eosinophils indicates possible allergic reactions.

For the same reason, urinalysis is also popular, the second number of the rating, it is a non-invasive, simple and rather quick test to assess urinary kidney function.

Plasma glucose levels characterize pancreatic function in the regulation of carbohydrate metabolism. Its increase suggests that the patient may have diabetes mellitus. However, one measurement does not yet indicate the disease, to confirm the diagnosis, it is necessary to obtain at least twice increased indicators. But even if after a single increase in glucose level normalized, in the future it is necessary to monitor it and in addition, it is important to consult an endocrinologist in such a situation.

Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) regulates thyroid endocrine function. Her work is extremely important, because the hormones that she produces affect almost all metabolic processes in the body. Diseases of this endocrine organ sometimes develop without obvious symptoms. At the same time, some symptoms indicating an increased or reduced level of thyroid hormones are also characteristic of other diseases. The study helps confirm the presence of thyroid pathology or remove it from the list of "suspects."

AlAT and AsAT are most often investigated in people with liver pathology, such as hepatitis. In case of impaired liver function against the background of the disease, the concentration of these enzymes will increase. Hepatitis can be of different nature, including viral. These enzymes will change in any kind of hepatitis.

Also among the most popular analyzes were:

  1. Creatinine (in blood);
  2. Antibodies HIV to 1 and 2 and HIV antigen 1;
  3. Bilirubin total;
  4. Antibodies to hepatitis C virus antigens.

The rating is based on data on research conducted in all regions of Russia for 2019.

According to Invitro, the top five have remained unchanged since 2018.

In addition, it should be noted that the popularity of tests for vitamins has increased: according to the company's analysts, the analysis for Vitamin D has moved in the overall list of the most popular laboratory tests of the network from 40 places to 24, and Vitamin V12 - from 86 to 65 (in 2019 compared to 2018). Patient surveys show that the vast majority (78%) have taken vitamin tests over the past year. Most often, the survey participants measured the total complex of vitamins and trace elements (10% of the total number of respondents), vitamin D level (9%), Omega 3, 6, and 9 (7%), vitamin V6 (5%).

The increased attention of patients to the level of vitamin D in the body is understandable: according to scientists, its deficiency is detected in almost 1 billion inhabitants of the Earth. This is due to the fact that vitamin D is present in a limited amount of food (mainly in fatty fish varieties and meat), and its synthesis in the human body is possible only in conditions when ultraviolet rays of sunlight enter the skin.

{{quote 'author = said Tatyana Ponkratova, medical expert "Invitro," a specialist in clinical laboratory[5]We observe a stable demand from our clients to the top 5 most popular tests for several years. And this is understandable, because they are, on the one hand, simple and informative tools for controlling the main indicators of the body in various diseases. On the other hand, even with good health, it is useful to periodically, for example, once a year, undergo a preventive examination so as not to miss diseases that are asymptomatic until then. In this sense, the most requested above tests are an accessible tool for assessing the state of health, }}
