Biography

He held leadership positions in the field of management and commerce of such technology companies as Acronis, Microsoft, NtechLab, SAP, Yandex, etc.

At SAP, Alexander Minin was engaged in building industry cold sales in large businesses in Russia and the CIS.

At Acronis, Alexander worked as vice president of corporate sales, his main achievement was the launch of a global cloud backup service from scratch.

After working for Microsoft for 5 years, Alexander moved from managing sales in the Central Federal District to managing corporate sales throughout Russia. As the commercial director of Yandex, Alexander was engaged in scaling the Yandex Cloud business, the result of his work was a profit increase from 1 to 8 billion rubles, as well as a two-year exit TOP-3 cloud service providers in Russia.

At NtechLab, Alexander focused on creating a new strategy and business model for the company, which contributed to NtechLab's entry into the TOP-3 of biometric technology providers in the world and x5 business growth.

2024: Softline Chief Commercial Officer

Softline Group of Companies (PJSC Softline) on July 5, 2024 announced the appointment of Alexander Minin as commercial director. The activities of the commercial director contribute to strengthening the position of the No. 1 group of companies as an IT supplier and expert in achieving technological sovereignty.

In this position, Alexander Minin focused on business transformation and profit growth, as well as on strengthening the commercial strategy of the group of companies. He will continue to build the work of Softline Group of Companies in new realities, is engaged in expanding the partner network, supporting the strategy of entering international markets, developing an expert team of sales managers, and promoting products. In addition, Alexander is working on the generation of new business areas that will contribute to an increase in the turnover of the group of companies.
