Biography

Svetlana Vasilyevna Mironyuk was born on January 3, 1968 in Moscow.

In 1990 "the geography of the world economy" graduated from geographical faculty MSU majoring in.

Since 2003 works in RIA Novosti: from January, 2003 to April, 2004 — the chairman of the board, from April, 2004 to 2006 — the CEO, since 2006 — the Chief Editor.

In February, 2009 Svetlana Mironyuk was included in "the first hundred" a reserve of administrative staff which is under patronage of the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Since 2010 the board member of the Russian department of the World Wide Fund for Nature^[1]

In 2013 the policy of RIA Novosti in information support of opposition rallies on Bolotnaya Square, was recognized unacceptable. Family

Married. The husband is Zverev Sergey Aleksandrovich, the president of KROS company.

Three children: two son and daughter.
