Nazaraliyev Islam Zamirovich

Biography

Born in 1982.

In 2003 he graduated from MGIMO in the discipline "Regional Studies and Diplomacy," and later defended himself in the profile "International Relations."

Islam Zamirovich began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In 2008, he switched to "inner space" and began to participate in development projects in the Krasnodar Territory.

In 2010, he was offered the position of Deputy General Director for Investor Relations of Krasnaya Polyana OJSC.

In parallel with this, Islam Nazaraliyev in 2010-14 developed a concept for the development of tourism and tourist facilities in the North Caucasus, Krasnodar Territory and Adygea as part of the work of the expert Council on Special Economic Zones of the tourist and recreational type.

After familiarization with the Concept, the President of the Russian Federation signed Decree 833 of the 14.10.2010 on the creation of a Turkluster in the North Caucasus Federal District, and OJSC "Resorts of the North Caucasus" was appointed in this project by the Management Company. It was here that Islam Nazaraliyev continued his work, attracting investments from European and Asian partners. By 2012, Korean, French and Austrian companies had already taken part in a number of joint projects.

Having received extensive experience in the tourism and investment fields, in 2014 Islam Nazaraliev defended his thesis on the topic "Formation and functioning of the tourism and recreational cluster of the North Caucasus" at the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

In 2014, he changed his sphere of interest, linking his future fate with NaftaGaz, where he became the first deputy general director Tokai Kerimov, after whose departure he took his position.
