Biography
Tagir was born in 1969 in Moscow.
In 1993 graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
From 1994 to 1999 continued to study at Rensselayerovsky Polytechnical Institute (Troy, the State of Nyyuyork). There defended the doctoral dissertation in "Engineering physics".
In 2001 defended the master's thesis at Lomonosov Moscow State University in "Mechanics and applied mathematics".
From 1994 to 2000 taught at Rensselayerovsky Polytechnical Institute, in Department "Nuclear engineering".
From 1998 to 2007 worked in General Electric company (Nyyuyork, Greenville, the USA, then Budapest, Hungary).
In 2006 under the leadership of Tagir Nigmatullin the General Electric design office in Eastern Europe is organized.
From 2007 to 2009 worked the program manager of advanced developments of directorate on the technical policy of JSC Power Machines.
From 2009 to 2010 the director of services and upgrade of the Moscow division of General Electric Oil & Gas.
In 2010 received a position of the deputy CEO of JSC Energostroyinvestholding for design.
In 2010 worked as the CEO of Sevzap of STC company.
From 2012 to 2015 — the director of service department of the Moscow division of General Electric Oil & Gas.
From 2015 to 2016 - the CEO of JSC Giprokislorod.
In November, 2016 Tagir Nigmatullin is appointed to the position of the president of the Russian power engineering enterprise JSC REP Holding. He released Igor Starinkov who will continue work in the company as the adviser to the president from this duty.
