Biography

Sergey Yarosh was born in 1972 in the Altai Territory. In 1994 he graduated from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance with a degree in International Economic Relations. He worked in the largest Russian banking institutions. From 1998 to 2015, he constantly worked at Eurofinance Mosnarbank, where he went from head of department to president-chairman of the bank's board.

A native of the banking community will lead the Competence Center of the State Corporation "Rostec" for working with non-core and problematic assets. Sergei Yarosh, who previously headed Eurofinance Mosnarbank, was appointed General Director of RT-Design Technologies (RT-PT) in early summer 2016.

As part of the implementation of the corporation's development strategy until 2025, the Rostec management set the task for RT-PT to form sources of financing for promising areas of activity through the sale of non-core assets, reduce the number of problematic assets through the implementation of financial recovery programs, and defend the interests of the state in bankruptcy procedures for strategic enterprises and organizations of the military-industrial complex included in the corporation's contour.

Among the priority tasks facing Sergei Yarosh in his new post is the development and implementation of a new strategy for managing non-core and problematic assets, the search for strategic partners, financial recovery and optimization of the financial and organizational activities of enterprises accountable to RT-PT.

2022: Appointment as Head of Eurofinance Mosnarbank

On September 20, 2022, Sergei Yarosh was officially appointed new chairman of the board of the Russian-Venezuelan bank JSCB Eurofinance Mosnarbank. According to the press service of "Rostec," the decision was made by the board of the state corporation after coordination with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Prior to his appointment, Sergey Yarosh headed the subsidiary holding of the RT-Design Technologies Corporation. One of his activities was the promotion of Russian innovative technologies in Venezuela.

It is noted that in addition to the development and promotion of traditional banking products - personal services, transaction support, lending, investment, etc. - the new Rostec bank will focus on expanding international activities and solving the problems of digital transformation of the financial sector, including taking into account sanctions restrictions.

In May 2022, the Government of the Russian Federation decided to contribute to the capital of the state corporation Rostec the state share in the JSCB Eurofinance Mosnarbank (50% plus two shares). 50% minus shares of the credit institution belong to the Venezuelan Fonden Development Fund.
