Education

• 1996, UGTU UPI, specialty - technology of mechanical engineering.

Was trained at institute of retraining of personnel of the Ural state technical university on specialization "Information intellectual technologies in a management activity" later.

In 2012 graduated from the Moscow school of management Skolkovo.

Career

• 1996-1997, worked as the engineer on quality of the Uralmash plant.
• 1997-2001, passed into Microtest company to a position of the head of qaulity. In 1999 created and headed department of web developments of the company.
• 2001, together with Alexander Davydov created Naumen company.
• 2002, became the chief executive of Naumen.

On October 10, 2012 the CEO of Naumen company Kirill Varlamov became the finalist of international contest "The entrepreneur of year – 2012" in Russia. International contest "The entrepreneur of year" (Entrepreneur Of The Year Award) for 27 years is held by Ernst & Young company and by right it is considered the most known and prestigious international contest in the field of business activity. Its geography covers more than 140 cities in 50 countries of the world now.

2012: Authorized representative of Putin

In February, 2012 Kirill Varlamov became the authorized representative of the candidate for president Vladimir Putin, being an exclusive representative of the IT industry in the list of 499 people.

2013: Head of fund of support of startups

In March, 2013 it is appointed the head of Fund of support of entrepreneurial initiatives on the Internet.

Here is how the Kommersant newspaper described a meeting of ASI with Varlamov's participation:

The position of the head of Sberbank did not frighten mister Putin too. Moreover, he thought up, it seems, punishment for the fact that that tried to offend his wards.

German Gref, apparently, did not test enthusiasm.

The head of Sberbank did not answer seconds ten and looked at the president, at Kirill Varlamov as if selecting between them.
