2025: Product Announcement

A robotic inventory up to 14 meters high, capable of replacing up to 20 employees per shift, was presented in June 2025 by the Russian group of companies Avtomakon. The new warehouse complex is fully developed on the domestic technological base, including both hardware components and embedded software.

According to CNews, the automated device is designed to work in high-altitude warehouse operations and can be integrated with manual forklifts and their unmanned counterparts. The robot independently scans QR codes on palletomest packages and compares them with the codes of the cells for placing goods.

The principle of the inventory is based on the automatic entry of data into the warehouse accounting system without the participation of personnel. The device is equipped with a computer vision system, cameras and additional backlight for orientation in the warehouse space. The inventory process takes place without stopping the main activities of the warehouse complex.

The technical solution provides flexible integration with warehouse information systems WMS and others software thanks to its own design. The manufacturer emphasizes the minimum requirement for human intervention in the workflow. robot

Ekaterina Rodina, Director for External Development of the Avtomacon Group of Companies, noted that the warehouse logistics market is moving from individual solutions to an ecosystem approach. According to her, automation is becoming a necessity to ensure the safety of personnel and increase the efficiency of industry development.

Of particular importance are high-rise operations in warehouses where pallets are moved at the level of a four-story building, which creates increased risks for workers. The homeland stressed that robotization does not replace employees, but protects them from dangerous working conditions.[1]
