2021: Launch of Mastercard Cloud Tokenization Service

On February 9, 2021, the developer and integrator of payment solutions Assist launched the cloud tokenization service MasterCard for e-commerce. Tokenization provides a number of advantages to merchants and their customers, including transaction security, increased transaction approval, and improved user experience when making recurring payments from a linked card.

Using MDES for Merchants cloud tokenization technology, instead of the main card details, a unique token is created that is assigned to the card for each trading platform, as well as a one-time cryptogram confirming the validity of the token. Card issuers, in turn, can automatically update card details for the token, thus ensuring the convenience and seamlessness of recurring payments for buyers.

2019: 3D-Secure 2.0 Certification

On September 23, 2019, it became known that the developer and integrator of payment solutions Assist passed certification payment system Visa according to protocol 3D-Secure 2.0, which allows not to use disposable ones when passwords paying online. The protocol provides a number of advantages to online companies and customers, significantly accelerating the payment process by in, bank cards Internet reducing the percentage of refusals and increasing the security of payment transactions. A fundamentally important point for sellers is that the refusal to use passwords occurs without transferring responsibility for fraudulent transactions - the issuing bank returns funds on them.

3D-Secure 2.0 is an advanced version of the 3D-Secure 1.0 protocol developed by Visa in 1999. This version allows you to improve interaction with the payer when using various devices and sales channels (this is relevant, first of all, for the field of mobile payments, where maximum speed and ease of payment are important). In addition, authentication methods based on analysis of multiple user data provide a higher level of security than the previous version of the protocol using one-time passwords to determine the authenticity of the card holder.

2017: In the world registry of Visa service providers

The Assist group of companies entered the global register of service providers of the international payment system Visa. The Visa Global Registry of Service Providers includes companies whose level of security of the payment service meets all the requirements of the PCI DSS standard and is officially certified by Visa. In 2017, Visa introduced a special distinguishing sign - the electronic badge "On the list!," Posted on payment pages and information resources of companies included in the register.

2016: Assist improves the reliability of IVR payments

The Assist Group has improved the security of the payment service using the interactive voice interaction (IVR) system. Now, the degree of protection of personal data during transfer through the IVR interface fully complies with the standards of encryption and processing of bank card data adopted by international payment systems.

Paying for goods or services with a bank card by phone without using the Internet is a popular way to accept payments in such industries as, for example, the sale of air and railway tickets, tourist, medical and other services. However, this technology has vulnerabilities in terms of the security of the payer's personal data transmitted to the operator through telephone communication.

Buying by phone is convenient for the payer: he does not need an Internet connection, there is no need to independently search for a product or service according to a number of criteria and manually enter a large amount of data, since all these actions are transferred to the call center side. After ordering, the operator switches the customer to the IVR system, where the bank card data is entered in tone mode and the possibility of their copying and fraudulent use is excluded. In this case, as a rule, authorization occurs automatically. The IVR system transmits the credit card data to the payment gateway and informs the payer of the transaction result. If the transaction passes successfully, the report is sent to the client by e-mail, if there are problems with payment, it is again switched to the call center. For security reasons, card data is not stored at the payment provider, and to prevent fraudulent transactions, a frod protection system works, which is configured for each type of business. This is what the standard IVR payment scheme looks like in general terms.

The electronic payment provider Assist has increased the level of security for the IVR interface it has developed, adding an encrypted data channel from the call center to the IVR module. In addition, all the parameters of the Assist IVR module meet the requirements of the PCI DSS standard, which makes the solution for accepting payments through the call center as safe as possible. This can be especially relevant for industries where fraudulent risks are traditionally high, for example, when buying air and railway tickets, tourist tickets.
