2021: Demonstration of the IoT solution for the city "Pelena "

On August 22, 2021, the Automatics concern of Rostec State Corporation first demonstrated the work of the Pelena intellectual complex, which allows remote control of urban infrastructure systems.

The Pelena software and hardware complex is a completely Russian product developed by KAMZ JSC of the Automatics concern together with the strategic partners of the plant. "The basis for creating the reference network of the Pelena complex, to which, in turn, elements of infrastructure facilities are connected, is the street lighting network. The system can operate equipment for environmental monitoring, traffic control, as well as devices for collecting other information needed by public utilities. Thus, a comprehensive approach to the issue of digital management of the urban environment is being implemented, "said Andrei Motorko, general director of the Automatics Concern.

PAK "Pelena" meets all the requirements of the import substitution policy, is based on computer systems of domestic production, as well as on domestic software products and protocols (operating systems, cloud services, encryption protocols ).

The "diaper" is easily integrated with a functioning infrastructure, while scalability and flexibility allow for the installation, commissioning and operation of facilities of various scales up to large administrative units.

Data collected using the mesh network and processed by the Pelena complex are projected using GIS onto the map of the area in the form of visually visible and informative analytical layers that simplify management decisions.

2019: Creation of PAK Pelena

On December 23, 2019, Rostec State Corporation announced that Automatics Concern is creating the Pelena software and hardware complex for managing urban infrastructure facilities. The complex will connect devices capable of receiving and transmitting information into a single Internet of Things network, and will be able to be used to manage transport, municipal, energy and industrial facilities.

The development of JSC Kaluga Electromechanical Plant, part of the Automatics Concern, is based on the Russian Elbrus platform and domestic software products. The complex's own secure protocol will allow you to create citywide networks for managing infrastructure facilities. Including - for the management of lighting systems, video surveillance, accounting for housing and communal services resources, environmental monitoring, as well as for the management of urban transport and other urban facilities.
