ARTPEC-7 also has a built-in real-time object detection functionality that allows you to distinguish between people, machines and faces. Axis clarified to TAdviser that in this case we are talking about the ability to determine the type of object depicted, the facial recognition function is not included in the solution.

File:Aquote1.png
It is convenient for us to have our own chipset to ensure high image quality even in difficult light conditions, to test all our applications on our platform. The presence of our own chip to some extent increases the cost of our products, but this corresponds to the quality that we want to achieve. Axis acts as a premium brand for large-scale corporate projects. The products that are produced in Russia are not the cameras that are put on the cottage, "said Mark Pavlitsa.
File:Aquote2.png

The company representative added that at the same time, some camera models designed for certain types of tasks use third-party chipsets, for example, Ambarella.

According to TAdviser, among the first customers for whom production of cameras with ARTPEC-7 began - Russian Railways, Gazprom Neft, St. Petersburg Metro.

In total, the Russian Jabil plant, where the production of Axis products has been located since 2016, produces 16 models of Axis cameras, 15 of which belong to the P-series. Initially, the company began local production with 10 models.

Axis P1375 and P1375-E cameras with Artpec-7 own chip

On May 13, 2019, Axis Communications introduced the Axis P1375 and P1375-E cameras equipped with the ARTPEC-7 chip of its own production: it improves security and analytics functions, and also makes it possible to encode video in H.264 and H.265 formats. The P1375 and P1375-E cameras are designed for internal and external video surveillance with a quality of 2 MP. According to the manufacturer, they are suitable for working in open spaces where high detail is needed: for example, in parks, banks, at loading sites or self-service cash desks in stores.

Axis P1375 Camera

Axis Communications noted that the P1375 and P1375-E cameras have built-in security features: users can only install authorized software and only perform safe downloads, which prevents unauthorized programs from appearing in the cameras. The P1375 and P1375-E cameras are equipped with a real-time object detection mechanism that allows Axis Communications and its partners to use more powerful analytics to automatically detect and recognize people, faces, and objects.

Thanks to the image processing pipeline modified in ARTPEC-7, the chip improves the performance of Axis proprietary technologies designed for video surveillance in difficult lighting conditions. For example, Lightfinder 2.0 provides more rich and realistic colors in low-light environments and more sharp images of moving objects even in dark areas. Forensic WDR also provides clearer images of moving objects and improves detail in frames with strong contrast between light and dark areas. The introduced cameras with the built-in ARTPEC-7 will also allow users to choose the way to encode video - H.264 and H.265, depending on what best suits their system and surveillance needs. According to the manufacturer, any coding standard combined with Axis Zipstream technology will require even lower throughput and space for storing video without losing image quality. In addition, users can reconsider their codec choices at any time if their requirements need to change.

The outer housing of the P1375-E is protected from water, corrosion and dust and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 ° to 60 ° Celsius. Besides, cameras can be equipped with additional accessories depending on tasks: for example, a set of lighters with IK-light-emitting diodes of AXIS Field Box IR Illuminator A for observation in complete darkness and also a pogodozashchitny set of AXIS P13 Weathershield Extension A. The built-in CS and rail fastenings allow fitters to change easily a lens that it corresponded to an observation situation, claim in the Axis Communications.

Certification of P13 video cameras for compliance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969

On October 22, 2018, Axis Communications certified the P13 line of video cameras for compliance with Russian Government Decree No. 969 aimed at ensuring transport security, and is now preparing a package of documents for certification of another 150 models that fit the requirements of this resolution. In addition to transportation, Axis also focuses on retail segments and industrial facilities.

File:Aquote1.png
author '= Alexey Mayorov, Sales Director, Axis Communications in Russia '
Equipment that is installed at transport safety facilities shall comply with the requirements specified by Russian regulations, regulations and GOST. Customers are required to use certified products, some even certify installed equipment themselves, and when planning camera purchases, they first ask which models are certified and which are going to certify. The transport industry has a number of features that need to be taken into account when developing cameras. First of all - the quality of the image, on which the ability to get as many details as possible depends, regardless of the speed of movement, lighting conditions, lighting, etc. After all, one of the main goals of surveillance in transport is to identify a person and recognize car numbers, and you can't do without a high-quality picture. The protection of the territory of the transport facility from the penetration of unauthorized persons plays a large role. To do this, we offer the Axis Perimeter Defender solution, which works with CCTV cameras. This solution includes a special application download chip that turns the camera into an analytical processing device that automatically responds to any incidents.
File:Aquote2.png

In our country, video surveillance systems in transport operate in difficult conditions, so they are subject to increased requirements for temperature conditions, fault tolerance, moisture and dust protection. To meet these requirements, Axis tests all cameras under real conditions in three test laboratories located in Sweden, Dubai and Novosibirsk.

Reducing the total cost of ownership of the video surveillance system is also important. As you know, you can save in two ways: buy the cheapest hardware or reduce the total cost of ownership of the system. Axis proposes to follow the second path using Zipstream technology, which is built into the cameras, automatically adjusts to the picture, determining the number of moving objects and the zones in which objects move, and accordingly changes the frequency of reference frames, as well as reduces or increases the frequency of the frames themselves. This allows you to dynamically reduce the bitrate depending on the picture, which in turn allows you to save the volume of the archive up to 50%. One of the most costly parts of video surveillance is storage.

All these capabilities are implemented in network cameras of the P13 series. This line for October 2018 has nine models, four of which are manufactured Tver at the company's plant, Jabil one of the contract manufacturers of Axis.

Alexey Mayorov explained that certification began with P13, because it is one of the best-selling Axis cameras and one of the most popular in the transport segment[1].

Axis P3807-PVE Multi-Touch Panoramic Camera

On October 8, 2018, Axis introduced a multi-sensory panoramic camera with the possibility of "seamless" shooting. The Axis P3807-PVE is equipped with four sensors and shooting with an angle of view of 180 ° horizontally and 90 ° vertically, which eliminates the presence of "blind spots." According to the developer, it is suitable for video surveillance at large facilities: train stations, indoor sports arenas, concert halls. In addition, thanks to the weather protection visor, it can be used in open spaces, for example, in the central squares of cities, parks, school stadiums. In combination with the Axis T94V01C bracket, the camera provides a full 360 ° view, which is important for surveillance in transport, in the commercial sector and on the streets of cities, according to Axis.

Axis P3807-PVE Multi-Touch Panoramic Camera

According to the manufacturer, Axis P3807-PVE network cameras have a resolution of 8 MPs with a full frame rate and provide high-quality image, which allows you to identify a person at a long distance, including for forensic work. The use of Lightfinder technology increases the color rendering of the image at night when installed both on the street and in the premises without additional light sources.

The standard Axis P3807-PVE software includes WDR Forensic. Using the latest generation image processing algorithms, it effectively reduces the level of visible noise and amplifies the useful signal. The technologies used and a wide range of capabilities for mounting the camera make it available to install it in almost any space where there can be brightly lit buildings and large spotlights or, conversely, dark alleys and poorly illuminated rooms, Axis claims.

The Axis P3807-PVE also uses Zipstream technology. It allows you to save important details in the frame, such as tattoos, license plates and faces, while saving video data flow up to 50% of the amount of memory needed for this on the server or cloud, the developer emphasized.

Axis noted that the viewing angle of 180 ° horizontally and 90 ° vertically with the possibility of "seamless" shooting reduces the number of cameras needed to monitor the object. All four optical units are in the same device, from which one video stream comes, and this means that you need only one license for a program for managing the video system and analytical software in full-length image. In addition, the Axis P3807-PVE camera is easily integrated into the existing surveillance system.

As of October 2018, the camera has already gone on sale at the recommended retail price of 98,000 rubles.[2]

AXIS P1367 Chassis Cameras

On October 6, 2017, AXIS announced the launch of P1367 case cameras with 5 MR at 25 k/s and replaceable optics with i-CS control.

P1367 cameras are focused on indoor 24-hour video surveillance systems. They are built on 5 MP sensors and come with a lens that supports i-CS remote control technology. These body cameras are characterized by high sensitivity to light, reaching 0.15/0.03 lx in day/night modes, correctly work with external IR/LED spotlights and are compatible with lenses of various manufacturers.

Compact case camera with 5 MP in 25 k/s mode and Axis P1367 video/audio detector, (2017)

AXIS P1367 implements AXIS technologies:

  • P-Iris,
  • Lightfinder,
  • Forensic WDR
  • Zipstream,
  • intelligent motion detector used
  • a sound detector for analyzing the situation by video/audio stream.

The rapid adaptation of the IP camera to light conditions allows you to use the AXIS P1367 for 24-hour work. The chassis cameras presented are True Day/Night models. They form color video with a high degree of detail when illumination on the object is up to 0.15 lux. When switching to black and white mode, the photosensitivity of the devices increases by five times. If it is necessary to organize video control at night without central lighting of guarded premises, AXIS housing cameras can be equipped with spotlights from the series of products T90Vxx W-LED/IR-LED, operating in the visible part of the light spectrum and in the infrared range.

Transmission of color video from the IP camera at low illumination levels is achieved through Lightfinder technology. The advanced dynamic range function WDR Forensic (120 dB) is implemented at the hardware level. It provides "output" of all image details when bright and darkened areas are simultaneously present in the video shooting sector. With the IP Diaphragm Automatic Adjustment System, the camera maintains optimal brightness on the sensor to ensure sharpness, clarity of image and correct exposure.

Support for broadcasting 5-megapixel video (3072x1728 pixels) at 25 k/s gives the P1367 IP camera a number of advantages, including the ability to use various video analytics to correctly assess the situation on the video surveillance object. At the same time, to reduce the load on the network and video recording devices, the IP chassis camera uses Zipstream proprietary technology implemented on the basis of the H.264 codec. The configuration of video streams and activation of individual functions of the chassis camera can be performed locally or remotely using AXIS hardware, including AXIS Camera Station, or other manufacturers.

Intelligent detection of mobile objects in specified areas of the frame is performed by the camera video detector (AXIS Video Motion Detection 4). It eliminates false alarms by analyzing the scene and ignoring natural background motion.

IP cameras use an audio detection system and record audio activity. To expand the security functionality, it is possible to additionally equip the camera with optional video analytics modules installed through the ASAR service.

On October 6, 2017, the P1367 AXIS 5-megapixel IP cameras arrived on the Russian market.

To increase the effectiveness of security, a motion detector operates, and the installation of "industry" video analytics software is provided.

2015

AXIS P3225-LV и P3225-LVE

In the range of IP equipment of Axis Communications, the P3225-LV and P3225-LVE cameras with an anti-vandal design of the dome case, designed for indoor and outdoor video surveillance, appeared. The novelties use a 2 MR CMOS sensor, a 3-10.5 mm variofocal lens with a P-Iris autodiphrame, an adaptive IR spotlight with OptimizedIR technology and a backlight range of up to 25 m, and also support the WDR 120 dB function with Forensic Capture. By broadcasting full HD video streams, megapixel cameras can significantly save on traffic by using Zipstream intelligent video compression technology. In addition, the P3225-LV/LVE is powered exclusively by PoE technology and can record megapixel video on an embedded microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory card.

The ability to broadcast 60-k/s Full HD images and compress video using Zipstream technology make new cameras a source of high-quality image and efficient "user" network and storage resources. Zipstream technology analyzes video streams in real time and optimizes them in such a way that areas including, for example, people's faces or license plates of cars are preserved with a high degree of detail, while parts of the frame with monotone walls, lawns, vegetation, etc., undergo significant compression. In practice, a megapixel image processed by Zipstream weighs less than 50 percent or more.

The intelligent potential of the camera is enhanced through the AXIS Camera Application Platform, when video monitoring requires such tasks as tracking the appearance/disappearance of objects in a frame, crossing virtual borders or collecting statistics provided by various video analytics modules. In particular, megapixel cameras P3225-LV/LVE can be equipped with free and easy-to-configure software application AXIS Video Motion Detection to quickly detect movement in any lighting conditions. In addition, each megapixel camera of the P32 series uses an integrated video detector and a system for recording unauthorized effects on the body and optics.

Externally identical chambers P3225-LV and P3225-LVE have differences in impact resistance class IK08 and IK10, dust and moisture protection IP52 and IP66 and minimum external operating temperature 0 and -30 ° C, respectively. At the same time, both megapixel cameras support the transmission of several video streams at the same time with a resolution of up to Full HD and a 50/60 k/s frame, M-JPEG and H.264 codecs, including a High Profile profile, as well as quick adjustment of the optimal angle and angle of video capture using the remote zoom control function and Pixel Counter technology. Moreover, the installation of new products simplifies the ability to accurately focus their megapixel optics over the Ethernet network.

The IR camera spotlight with AXIS OptimizedIR technology and the variable lens with an auto-controlled P-Iris diaphragm increase the efficiency of video shooting in conditions of variable illumination. Due to the fact that the opening of the aperture of the diaphragm and the sharpness of the image are controlled by specialized software, megapixel cameras accurately focus the image in any operating conditions. An important addition to this is the use of the combined WDR-Forensic Capture technology in P3225-LV/LVE, which improves the quality of megapixel video for its detailed analysis in the future, since it compensates for the darkened and illuminated sections of the frame, making all its details visible.

The free AXIS Camera Companion video surveillance program, included with each AXIS camera, allows you to quickly configure video streams and allow you to control the video system with a maximum of 16 channels, including with a server-free architecture. At the same time, megapixel cameras provide access to current/archived video and a number of other settings through a web browser from any network PC and mobile devices. Thanks to the support of ONVIF protocols and the presence of an open API, both megapixel models can fully work as part of multi-brand video surveillance systems managed by various developers.

AXIS P3214-VE и P3215-VE

The equipment line of AXIS Communications was replenished in February 2015 with fixed dome IP cameras P3214-VE and P3215-VE, which have an anti-vandal housing with the protection class IP66/IK10 and are designed for video shooting on the street with a resolution of up to HD 720p and HD 1080p, respectively, at frame/s. Regardless of the model, these outdoor surveillance cameras come with variofocal lenses and support P-Iris diaphragm control to achieve optimal light transmission and depth of sharpness of the image. In addition, both novelties for outdoor video surveillance have a fairly high sensitivity, support PoE power and allow video recording on a memory card microSD/SDHC/SDXC a capacity of up to 64 GB. The new cameras are designed to operate in street conditions in the temperature range from -30 to + 50 ° C, are supplied in a thermocouple with a dust/moisture protection index IP66 and impact resistance class IK10. The number of P3214/P3215-VE mounting options on site is significantly increased due to the dome design and the ability to select additional attachment brackets. In particular, outdoor CCTV cameras can be attached both by overhead and suspension, and even installed in a special AXIS T98A17-VE street mounting box for video surveillance in special conditions. To prevent direct sunlight from entering the lens during external video shooting, the novelties are equipped with a sun visor.

Round-the-clock video shooting using the P3214-VE and P3215-VE camera is carried out in day/night modes with lighting up to 0.3/0.06 lx (F1.6) and 0.25/0.05 lx (F1.4). In particular, optics used in novelties can meet such conditions. Thus, the P3214-VE comes with a 2.8-10 mm lens that provides viewing angles of 92 ° to 33 °, and the P3215-VE outdoor surveillance cameras have a 3-10.5 mm lens that has an angular range of 95-34 °. Both lenses correct the light flux in the IR range and support P-Iris diaphragm control technology. It is important to note that the adjustment of the vario lens for better external video surveillance is carried out automatically using special software.

Both models transmit HDTV quality images, while the P3215-VE camera uses a 2-megapixel sensor and generates video with a resolution of up to Full HD (1920x1080 pixels.), While the P3214-VE 1.3-megapixel model supports a resolution of up to HD720p (1280x720 pixels.). In addition, outdoor surveillance cameras allow you to choose the M-JPEG and/or H.264 compression format and configure the frame up to 25 k/s, allowing you to adjust the bit rate (VBR/CBR) for flow in H.264 and automatically adjust to the bandwidth of the communication channel. At the same time, new outdoor models provide multi-stream video broadcasting, for example, for recording in the archive of a video surveillance system and viewing the "current" over the network.

You can centrally configure the P3214-VE and P3215-VE and manage their video streams in small outdoor video surveillance systems (no more than 16 IP devices) using AXIS Camera Companion software, which is included with each AXIS device, including new dome cameras. However, to build medium to large video systems, including geographically distributed ones, it is recommended to use a paid branded AXIS Camera Station product or Milestone A-rotect multi-brand software for an unlimited number of IP channels or other ONVIF-compatible software. It should be noted that along with anti-vandal protection, the new external surveillance cameras provide complete protection of data and video transmitted over the network.

Power is supplied to the cameras using Power over Ethernet technology in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/802.3at standards, and their consumption power with the heater on is 8.4 W (standard 3.5 W). To perform security functions, external video surveillance cameras are equipped with a motion detector and a system for timely detection of damage and/or shading of the dome/body. If an alarm is received, they can display a text message on the CCTV monitor screen, activate the recording of pre- and post-alarm frames, video recording on the memory card microSD/SDHC/SDXC or on the NAS, etc. As an option, novelties can be supplied with a tinted dome that hides the direction of view.

AXIS P5624-E

ARMO-Systems announced in May 2015 the P5624-E rotary dome IP cameras manufactured by Axis Communications, which are designed for video shooting at large-area objects and form an image with a resolution of up to HD 720p. With the use of the IP66/IK10 protection class impact-resistant housing, the rotary CCTV camera is protected from atmospheric and mechanical effects, and the high photosensitivity of its sensor and support for the WDR mode with Forensic Capture feature provides detailed video capture in difficult light conditions with lighting up to 0.3/0.01 lx. For comprehensive video monitoring, this CCTV camera supports rotation of the video module by 360 °/180 ° and uses a transfocator with 18 times optical zoom. In addition, the P5624-E implements PoE+ technology, conforms to ONVIF specifications, and has a slot for installing a memory card.

Multithreaded video transmission over the network from the rotary camera is carried out in H.264 and/or M-JPEG formats with independent settings for each stream, including the choice of image resolution up to HDTV 720p (1280x720 pixels.), A frame of up to 25 k/s, bit rate and individual quality settings. At the same time, the rotary CCTV camera provides for recording video on an SDHC/SDXC memory card with a capacity of up to 64 GB. It is worth noting that the P5624-E implements the "Advanced Gatekeeper" function, thanks to which the camera can switch to presets when objects moving in the frame are detected, and accompany them until they leave the video surveillance zone or a predetermined period of time passes.

One of the advantages of a rotary camera is to maintain high image quality in a wide range of illumination levels. Thus, the AXIS P5624-E is capable of forming a high-quality color image with illumination up to 0.3 lx, and in black and white mode its sensitivity reaches 0.01 lx. Moreover, the rotary CCTV camera uses Wide Dynamic Range technology to expand the dynamic range to 120 dB and provide a balanced contrast image without too dark or too light areas, and uses the Forensic Capture mode to "develop" the largest number of parts in conditions of complex illumination on the video surveillance object.

The functionality of the camera's rotary mechanism includes 360 ° circular pan and 180 ° tilt with an adjustable speed of 0.2 to 350 °/s, and the autodiphrame transfocator used in P5624-E has a focal length range of 4.7-84.6 mm and thus provides an optical magnification of up to 18 crats. Control of PTZ-functions of the rotary CCTV camera is provided by the operator's command or in automatic mode, according to the selected settings. With this, the P5624-E allows you to monitor large-area video surveillance objects, as well as identify people's faces and car registration plates at distances of up to 200 m.

The free AXIS Camera Companion software, equipped with rotary cameras, allows you to not only perform initial hardware configuration, but also manage a video surveillance system that includes up to 16 IP devices that support Edge storage and video recording on memory cards. At the same time, to create large-scale video systems, AXIS proposes to use the AXIS Camera Station software, in which the P5624-E rotary surveillance camera is integrated, capable of serving up to 100 channels. And due to compliance with ONVIF standards, the novelty can be easily integrated into third-party video surveillance programs.

The housing P5624-E can be rendered virtually invisible, although it has considerable dimensions, since the rotary chamber is capable of being painted in any desired colour, for example under the colour of the mounting surface. Moreover, the rotary CCTV camera is protected from the actions of vandals and precipitation in accordance with classes IK10 (NEMA 4X) and IP66, and is functional at external temperatures from -20 to + 50 ° C, which allows it to be used in unheated objects, as well as in street conditions. At the same time, power is supplied to CCTV cameras through Ethernet due to the implementation of the PoE + (Power over Ethernet Plus) technology, and their power consumption does not exceed 15 W.

AXIS P1365

In the range of IP devices of Axis Communications for security video surveillance systems in the summer of 2015, AXIS P1365 cameras appeared, which use the latest AXIS Zipstream technology to most efficiently compress video without losing image quality and reduce network load by 50% or more. The new IP camera has a classic case design, is equipped with a 1/2.8 "CMOS sensor, a variofocal P-Iris lens and supports WDR-Forensic Capture and Lightfinder technologies for working in a wide range of lighting up to 0.18/0.04 lx. In addition, the P1365 is capable of transmitting video streams to H.264/M-JPEG with Full HD resolution at 50 k/s, has Multi-View to configure up to 8 "virtual cameras," digital PTZ functions and supports third-party video analytics.

To simplify the installation of the 2 MP, the AXIS IP camera comes with a 2.8-8 mm IR-corrected varifocal lens and automatic P-Iris diaphragm control technology. The P1365 has a Manual Focus Electronic Helper feature that helps the installer make sure that the camera's focus is fine-tuned with the built-in green LED. Remote Back Focus is implemented for remote configuration. The concise design of the IP camera housing and the presence of an attachment bracket ensure its quick installation on the ceiling or wall, and power is supplied to it using PoE technology (Power-over-Ethernet).

The innovative AXIS Zipstream video encoding technology based on the H.264 compression algorithm optimizes video streams from the new IP camera to maximize video surveillance resources and minimize traffic. By performing real-time video processing, the AXIS P1365 IP camera transmits a highly detailed image of where the motion is captured or other important events occur. At the same time, the fixed elements in the frame, for example, the walls of the room, are subjected to significant compression to reduce the total flow in bits. Thus, Zipstream allows you to increase the detail of important areas of the image, but at the same time reduce the "weight" of the stream by 50% or more.

These IP AXIS cameras broadcast multithreaded video at full HD resolution and 25 k/s with WDR-Forensic Capture active and up to 50 k/s without it. They also use Lightfinder proprietary technology, so they can work in a wide range of illumination levels, providing natural color transmission and "aligning" the brightness and contrast of darkened and interspersed sections of the frame. The total sensitivity threshold that an IP camera has for transmitting a color/black-and-white image is 0.18/0.04 lx, and for Full HD video broadcast at 50 k/s, the image will remain legible up to 0.36/0.08 lx, respectively.

The P1365 can be run under any ONVIF-compatible software, including the 16-channel AXIS Camera Companion software, which is equipped with all AXIS IP cameras. To create medium- and large-scale video surveillance systems that will involve a new IP camera and other AXIS IP devices, it is recommended to use the latest paid AXIS Camera Station software product. In addition, through the AXIS Camera Application Platform, the P1365 IP models can be equipped with third-party video analytics applications.

The AXIS P1365 supports Edge storage technology and is capable of recording video to a removable microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory card, for which the IP camera has a slot on the back of the chassis. To implement the security functionality, the P1365 is equipped with an audio channel and performs motion and sound detection. In addition, the IP camera allows you to connect two external security sensors and two actuators, can detect attempts to affect the body or optics. When alarm events are recorded, this camera can send a message to a specified E-mail address, upload alarm video to FTP, SFTP, HTTP, and initiate other reactions.

AXIS P3224-LVE dome type IP video cameras

Axis Communications released in October 2015 P3224-LVE dome type IP video cameras with IK10/IP66 degrees of protection, which are designed to work in street conditions at temperatures up to -30 ° C. The novelties use a megapixel CMOS sensor and can transmit over the network several video streams in H.264/M-JPEG with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. and an upgrade rate of up to 60 k/s, and implement intelligent Zipstream video compression technology. Thanks to the use of a 3-10.5 mm variable lens with ARD P-Iris, an adaptive IR spotlight with OptimizedIR technology and the WDR 120 dB feature with Forensic Capture, these street surveillance cameras provide a clear picture on objects with complex lighting conditions. In addition, the AXIS P3224-LVE supports PoE power and administration with any ONVIF-compatible software.

A streamlined dome housing corresponding to classes IP66 and IK10 provides a high degree of protection of the video camera against precipitation and vandals. Because the P3224-LVE has a range of operating temperatures of -30 to + 50 ° C, they can be installed for both indoor and outdoor observation, such as in retail stores , banks, hotels and other service enterprises, without spending much effort, money and time on installation work. Street surveillance cameras are powered exclusively by PoE technology, so they do not need to be supplied with a separate power cable. At the same time, for the most accurate adjustment of image resolution and viewing angle, street models provide a "pixel counter" and remote zoom control.

Quality HDTV 720p images of these cameras are broadcast at 60 k/s and can transmit one or more streams over the network. At the same time, H.264 video is processed by AXIS Zipstream intelligent image compression technology, which reduces the load on the surveillance system network by an average of 50% or more by highlighting the most important scene details in the frame, such as people's faces and car registration numbers, and strong non-essential compression. In parallel with video shooting, street surveillance video cameras can detect mobile objects and attempts to unauthorized influence their street building, and as a reaction to such events, activate the recording of alarm frames on a memory card microSD/SDHC/SDXC etc.

You can quickly adjust and view video settings using the free 16-channel AXIS Camera Companion software included with the camera. At the same time, access to the current/archived video and a number of settings is also possible through a web browser from any network PC. If new street surveillance cameras are designed to work in large multi-brand video systems, then it is recommended to use the licensed software product AXIS Camera Station or other ONVIF-compatible software of Russian or foreign developers to administer them.

High light-transmitting characteristics of the standard variofocal lens allow the use of video cameras for observation at objects with complex light conditions. WDR 120 dB are equipped with optics with focal lengths of 3-10.5 mm, horizontal/vertical viewing angles of 92-34 °/50-20 ° and progressive ARD P-Iris. Operating under the control of specialized software, regulating the opening of the diaphragm and adjusting the sharpness of the image, street surveillance video cameras provide focus on people and objects located at different distances from it. In addition, to facilitate the selection of the surveillance sector, the P3224-LVE has a three-axis attachment hinge for the chamber module, which is especially important in street installation conditions.

The built-in infrared spotlight of the novelty is controlled using OptimizedIR technology, which allows adjusting the angle and intensity of the infrared illumination in accordance with the optical magnification factor of the video camera, as well as uniformly illuminating the surveillance sector at distances up to 25 m. However, without using the infrared spotlight, street surveillance video cameras have a photosensitivity of 0.5 lx, which can be increased to 0.25 lx by activating WDR-ForCapture (120). Moreover, the Extended Dynamic Range (WDR) function significantly improves the brightness balance of the picture when observing street objects and retains high detail of the video throughout the frame.

AXIS P3365-V and P3365-VE

The range of equipment of AXIS Communications was replenished in September 2014 with dome vandalized IP cameras P3365-V and P3365-VE day/night, which form an informative image with lighting up to 0.2/0.04 lx and are able to broadcast up to 8 video streams with a resolution of up to Full HD at 25 k/s. Unlike the P3365-V, the P3365-VE network cameras are designed for street operation at -40... + 50 ° C and use a thermowell with IP66. In addition, both network models are equipped with alarm and audio interfaces, can record and store video on the SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card, operate under the control of Axis Camera Station or other ONVIF-compatible software products and support power supply using PoE technology. Due to the high photosensitivity of each camera, which is 0.2/0.04 lx in day/night video shooting modes, as well as the use of a light-sighting lens (F1.3) and the support of effective video signal processing algorithms, AXIS specialists were able to achieve high video quality in various light conditions. In addition, the new network surveillance cameras use P-Iris technology to adjust the opening of the lens diaphragm controlled by special software, therefore providing the required depth of sharpness of the image at a particular illumination. Another advantage of the P-Iris diaphragm is the ability to keep different objects in focus at the same time.

P3365-V/P3365-VE are capable of broadcasting video with full HD quality from one to eight streams simultaneously in H.264 format, as well as M-JPEG. At the same time, both cameras provide a full frame rate (up to 25 k/s) at a resolution of up to 1080p (1920x1080 pixels.), Which fully complies with the SMPTE 274M standard. In addition, these dome network cameras support panning, tilting, and zoom control by digital means with the ability to transmit multiple video streams with full view and individual enlarged areas. To adjust frame sizes up to a pixel, new network devices use the Pixel counter feature, which is required when recognizing and identifying the faces of people and reg. car numbers.

With the IK10 class impact-resistant housing, the P3365-V and P3365-VE cameras are ideal for video shooting in places where the probability of equipment damage is very high. At the same time, P3365-V are designed for installation in the premises, and P3365-VE - on the street, since they are supplemented with a heater and brought into accordance with the tightness class IP66. Both day/night network cameras are equipped with 3-9 mm variofocal optics, an internal SD/SDHC/SDXC slot for installing a memory card, support bidirectional sound transmission and functions such as motion and sound detection and detection of attempts to close the dome of network models or shade it.

For informative video shooting on the street, the new 4K camera is equipped with a variofocal 3.3-9.8 mm lens, which supports remote focusing and P-Iris diaphragm control using specialized software. Thanks to this, the 4K lens of the model independently "adjusts" to the conditions of illumination on the object.

Support for 4K Ultra HD resolution (or 8.3 megapixels) allows you to replace one P1428-E with four Full HD IP cameras, and keep under control large objects such as car parking, city squares, etc. At the same time, for detailed viewing of individual fragments of the 4K image, the camera allows the operator to easily increase them by software. To increase the efficiency of video control of large areas, it is recommended to use 4K monitors in the video system, as well as a digital patrol mode in which mobile objects are detected, their images are scaled and their movement is "auto-monitored."

The extensive network functionality of the P1428-E IP camera includes the simultaneous transmission of several individually configurable video streams in M-JPEG and H.264 (Baseline, Main and High Profile) formats with the choice of resolution for each of them up to 3840x2160 pixels. (8.3 MP) and a 25 k/s frame. At the same time, the 4K camera has built-in RAM of 1024 MB and flash memory of 256 MB. In addition to broadcasting video to remote users, the P1428-E can record it on an embedded microSD/SDHC/SDXC format memory card with a capacity of up to 64 gigabytes, and also supports recording 4K video in IP NAS storage, which is usually used when organizing a small video system without purchasing a central server.

The camera is equipped with a 3-axis attachment bracket, which allows you to install it on the wall, roof and other planes, and when using optional fasteners, its installation is possible at the corners of buildings, as well as on pipes and pillars, including a small diameter, since the P1428-E has compact dimensions and a small weight. In addition, the 4K camera is provided with a sun visor to prevent direct sunlight from reaching the lens. The AXIS P1428-E requires up to 12.9 watts of power in street conditions, so 4K models implement High PoE power technology (over an Ethernet network).

You can improve the security performance of your new IP camera by installing various analytical applications using the AXIS Camera Application Platform. In addition, the P1428-E is equipped with free AXIS Camera Companion software, which allows you to organize an IP video surveillance system for 2-16 video channels, is integrated into the full-featured AXIS Camera Station software, and can also operate under the control of third-party programs, since each 4K camera of the new series meets the ONVIF specification. It is worth noting that if necessary, 4K videos can be accessed through a standard web browser.
