2023: Set Prisma 7 with Centralized Server Management

CSI introduced an updated version of the Set Prisma 7 cash operations control system on April 4, 2023. Now it has centralized server management, flexible advanced search, updated integrations, innovations in the interface and other features for quick and convenient work with violations.

Connecting Servers to a Central Management System

Now the configuration, management and control of all network servers takes place in a single workplace. This avoids unnecessary actions, reduces labor costs, and saves IT time.

Analysts can also work faster and more efficiently. Now the advanced search Set Prisma can be customized - add, delete and swap parameter fields. The algorithm of this tool has also been modernized: when the user sets several parameters, the system only issues incidents that contain a combination of them. This release also improves the rule "Skip when you refuse to add an item at self-service checkouts." As a result, the number of false positives of the rule decreased by 30%.

Set Prisma users have more options for choosing video surveillance - the solution is integrated with the Line 8 and Optimus systems. Set Prisma now supports 11 video systems.

To track the unauthorized use of cards, coupons and discounts and prevent fraudulent actions with them, the Set Prisma feature will help: analysts have information about the use of loyalty cards, coupons and various types of discounts in the check.

The Set Prisma interface also has many useful features for fast and convenient work. Auto-filling the screen grid when working in real time, fast video playback from the moment of violation and a simplified transition between checks in archive mode help users avoid unnecessary actions and concentrate on the main task. Grouping video surveillance objects by stores and choosing a convenient type of interface - quickly find the necessary objects, pay maximum attention to observation and analysis of information.

Inclusion in the register of domestic software

In 2021, the box-office software solutions of the Set family of Crystal Service Integration are included in the "Unified Register of Russian Programs for Computers and Databases" from the Ministry of Digital Science of Russia. The official status was given to: Set Retail 10 - a trading automation system and modules included in it, Set Prisma - a cash control system.

Set Prisma 7 with the ability to create individual rules for detecting violations

On February 4, 2021, Crystal Service Integration announced the release of Set Prisma 7. The cash operations control system (SCCO) allows retailers to eliminate the causes of financial losses on the cash line - theft, errors and disciplinary violations of cashiers. With the release of this version, violations can be detected more efficiently - improved algorithms cut off false incidents by 35% more accurately, thereby saving the operator time to watch videos.

SCCO compares data from the system in which the cashier works with the video surveillance stream behind the cash register, automatically records suspicious events and applies fragments of video recording to them. Set Prisma has ready-made templates for detecting all known and retail-relevant violations, and version 7 has the ability to create individual rules. This allows the analyst to work with almost an unlimited number of scenarios.

The operator can monitor both one and centrally all stores of the network from one window - monitor the situation online or regularly check the data accumulated by the system about potential violations.

All work from start to finish takes place in a single interface:

1. The system captures suspicious incidents, binds video clips.

2. The analyst reviews incidents consistently. Set Prisma adds potential amounts of damage, you can start with the largest. After watching the video (sometimes a freeze frame is enough), the analyst rejects or confirms the violation. There he leaves a comment, marks on the screenshot with a built-in graphics editor.

3. Upon completion - in one click generates a report on confirmed violations. It includes the data of the check, cash desk and cashier, the time of the incident, a screenshot with notes, a comment and the amount of damage (if any).

Improvements to this version will eliminate more financial losses without attracting additional resources from the retailer - 3 employees are enough to work with 50 stores of 2 cash desks in Set Prisma 7. In the previous version - 6, and with classic video surveillance without SCCO, 18 people are needed to identify the same violations.

The system accumulates scenarios of violations from the practice of retailers in Russia and the CIS. To help the operator for February 2021 - a classifier with 100 descriptions, and analytics for testing hypotheses - more than 30 search parameters on the system. The cost of detecting one violation (4.2 rubles) makes it advisable even to identify losses associated with the sale of plastic bags.

Set Prisma is compatible with cash solutions Set Retail 10, Profi-T, 1C: Retail, R-Keeper, Frontol-6, SHTRIKH-M, Supermag UKM-4 and Artix through the integration module.

The losses of retailers at the box office line reach 30% of all store losses. The alcohol market tested Set Prisma in several stores - 7 people were fired, 5 criminal cases. A network of 8 stores of 10-15 cash desks estimated the damage detected using the system at 3.5-4 million rubles per year. Set Prisma provides information for each suspicious case: high-resolution video recording and an extended check that contains additional information about the event - for example, deleting an item or entering an item code manually. You can view violations in the past days manually.

At the same time, Set Pisma provides a complete set of tools that is suitable both for investigating specific cases and for understanding system problems that require a speedy solution:

• Operational mode. Monitoring cash registers in real time with the ability to look at the work of both a separate cash desk and all cash desks at once.
• Archive mode. Allows you to find any event over the past time, independently identify a dangerous pattern and take action.
• Sampling suspicious situations. It is formed automatically every day, provided in a well-structured and easy-to-use form.
• Violation report. It is created by the system on its own every time after the next incident is analyzed. Contains only the information you need and is ready to print.
