2018: Payment acceptance of WebMoney at the checkout Shtrikh-M

On August 17, 2018 WebMoney Transfer and Shtrikh-M companies announced the solution for payment acceptance of WebMoney using the QR code. The project is implemented together with payment integrator PayMaster.

According to the company, the special superstructure of PayMaster WebMoney is integrated into the cash module that allows to make payments and to obtain information on payment in real time. The client needs to open mobile application of WebMoney Keeper, to scan with its help the QR code from the check or directly from the screen of cash desk and to confirm write-off.

Printing of the cash voucher is automatic. Means arrive on the checking account of the seller at once.

By estimates of WebMoney Transfer and Shtrikh-M, the solution will be demanded at representatives as small, so medium and large business where payment acceptance is made using cash desks Shtrikh-M, and will allow to attract clients from among 37 million participants of the WebMoney system.

According to representatives of the company to begin to accept WebMoney for payment, it is not necessary to install the additional hardware, it is enough to configure the module PayMaster WebMoney for the program "Shtrikh-M: Cashier 5".

Also it was noted that earlier payment acceptance of WebMoney became available at restaurants and cafe and also the solution for cash desks Evotor aimed at representatives of small business was presented.

2017: Mass failure in work of a fiscal registrar (damage of 2.5 billion rub)

On December 20, 2017 SHTRIKH-M Group announced inclusion of a part of fiscal registrars of production of SHTRIKH-M Group in an incorrect operation mode. The possible reason - untimely updating of the version of software. The problem arose in software of the cash register equipment and is not connected with functioning of the Fiscal drive. The essence of an error was that when converting date 12/20/2017 in an internal format of the device the transaction "check printing" became cyclic, i.e. could not be complete - the cash register equipment "hung up".

Drives of production of Shtrikh-M company are one of the most popular in Russia. Failure affected both drives Shtrikh-M, and devices made by the related structures "RR-Elektro", Trinity and "STC Measuring instrument.

According to OFD.RU fiscal data operator, failure in work of online cash desks was the result of incorrect operation of the equipment Shtrikh-M. The share of the fiscal registrars made by Shtrikh-M group (in structure Shtrikh-M, Yarus Ltd, Pey Kiosk, "RR-Elektro", Trinity), according to OFD.RU, makes about 25% of all market. The share of devices Shtrikh-M makes 17% of the market of fiscal registrars.

The point-of-sale terminals "Shtrikhm01f" ceased to work in several Russian regions at once. Messages about failures arrive from Vladivostok, Barnaul, Nizhny Tagil, Kemerovo and other cities. And problems are observed in different outlets — in shops and at gas stations.

The first failures in operation of point-of-sale terminals were announced by journalists from Vladivostok. According to preliminary data, the problem with fiscal drives which store checks became the reason and create the code for their check. The director of DNS Digital Store Dmitry Alekseev^[1] told about the incident on the page on Facebook ^[2].

Then trade rose in Novosibirsk. Information on failure was confirmed by the representative of manufacturing company of point-of-sale terminals. He said that the situation is already solved by specialists. "This problem is across all Russia. What happened, we do not know. It is failure in a system, the situation is already eliminated, already sent a new proshivochka" — explained in Shtrikh-M.

Shortly messages about failure in operation of terminals began to arrive from Kemerovo, Nizhny Tagil and Petrozavodsk. Buyers in shops "Magnet" and "Pyaterochka" faced problems. In Barnaul meanwhile failures recorded at gas stations "Rosneft", Lukoil and "Gazpromneft"^[3].

Entered the list of affected retail chain stores Gazpromneft gas Station, Lukoil and Rosneft and also a point of child networks of Rosneft "Bashneft Retail", "Tulanefteprodukt" and RN-Vostoknefteproduct. The Novosibirsk news resources announced problems in work of local supermarket chain "More Brightly!". Malfunctions also affected Magnit retail network and the Moscow network "Magnolia". In addition among victims there were drugstores "Rigla", retail networks "Maria-Ra", "Aniks", Avtoshtrikh, "Eldorado" and others.

In total because of failure of fiscal drives about 9% of the Russian retail suffered. The association of the companies of Internet trade estimates the general loss of profit of shops as a result of failure at 2.5 billion rubles, TASS reports.

As the company reported, for December 20, 2017 2.5 thousand maintenance centers of the company and 20 thousand service engineers are engaged in elimination of effects of failure. The problem is solved by reprogramming of cash desk on the version of December 20, 2017. Techniques and recommendations about software updating are sent to all organizations servicing the SHTRIKH-M cash register equipment.

All by the cash register equipment where the mode of automatic update of the software worked, was updated and avoided failure. In factory execution the "automatic update" mode is "by default" included, shutdown was made in the manual mode.
