Virtual desktop (DaaS) - service on the platform of a cloud of DEAC.
On June 10, 2015 the operator of data centers DEAC company announced start of service for safe and continuous workflow – a virtual desktop of DaaS (Desktop As A Service), on the platform of the cloud.
By means of use of service, the program and data of the user are not placed on the local storage device, and access to them is possible from any place in the world where there is an Internet. This solution ensures reliable and continuous functioning, security of information and cost reduction.
The DaaS service is developed with assistance of powerful functionality that allows the customer to use the usual interface with a desktop and programs, without additional personnel training (Microsoft, email, documents, Internet browsers, multimedia and so forth).
"The virtual desktop of DaaS is convenient for work first of all that it gives the chance to users to use usual programs from any devices from any place in the world where there is an Internet, - Andris Gaylitis, the chairman of the board of DEAC noted. – The cloud is not any more a fashion whim therefore on its base within the last year we gradually integrate all new services, including data backup (BaaS) and a virtual desktop (DaaS) as full-fledged and integral tools for the organization of daily work in any company".
Four regular configurations and versions of the preset software in the English or Russian languages are available to work. The provider offers also personal configurations, depending on user requirements.
